there are 3 options for u . The first is to get ur friend to unlock it,the second is to sell the phone as parts for phone repairers , the 3rd and last option is to do nothing

There are other options. For now, you can't tell if it is locked with icloud. Reasons: The phone is locked to operation. I mean, it is just a passcode lock. To unlock it will require you to set it up as NEW using ITunes. How do you do that? Restore the phone as New after downloading the latest IPSW file ( this is a full operating system for the iPhone). This method is simply a method of flashing an iOS device. Next is to activate. Here will require icloud. If it is locked, get ready to spend N35k below to unlock. If it is not locked. You are good to continue set up.

Paste d imei here so we can assist u check if d "find my phone" feature is switched off or on before u do a restore via itunes

give me the phone imei lemme help u check weda activation lock is on .before u do any retore. if not ua on ur own
