All you need to demonstrate is team player attributes, good public speaking and have convincing interview answers ready. Not necessarily common, but convincing.

Yeah...I got a regret mail. The partner said he is going to switch my application to ITA, that my skills and experience are more suited for a career in ITA. The regret mail said they would contact me in future when there is an opening in ITA. In my experience though, such promises never come to pass. So for all intents and purposes, my mind is off of KPMG's matter.

If the partner has said that he will switch it to ITA, then they will. Don't hands off yet unless u r no more interested.

well, i wld say just b confident and answer questions intelligently. think b4 u talk i.e weigh ur answers in ur mind b4 u spew them out. try as much to provide honest answers. dnt take too much time thinking abt ur answers so it doesn't seem like u r fabricating them. best of luck

To be honest, they do. but ur making it to dis stage indicates dt u av a higher chance of getting in. dnt relent and also impress ur interviewer. all d best

Tax AC comprises: panel interview, group case study and an individual presentation.

i wld advise dt u go thru all pages on this thread so u can gain from oda pple xperiences. all d best

No, i think critical reasoning is obtainable in the AC for Audit dept. Tax AC involves Panel interview where u meet with the panelists alone and u get to answer the normal interview questions abt urself. Secondly, u'll be involved in a group case study where u're to work with ur team to come up with solution(s) to a case scenario (usually an ethical issue). Then finally, an individual presentation on a topic u'll choose for urself.


In all, speak well, be composed, be audible (don't let them tell u to speak up). Speak with confidence especially at ur presentation and be active in ur group activity. Honestly, it's not as difficult as u might be thinking. Prepare, be confident and everything will take care of itself....God's grace!
