Marketmore variety was planted on Tuesday 24-03-15. Watered in very well. No herbicide was applied simply for the fact that it is just few lines. It will be weeded manually when it is time

3ft by 3ft if not staked. If you are using stakes, 3ft inter-row spacing, 1ft within row. tnx

I want to remind you peopple that this garden was grown almost organically. Due to this fact, the fruits are not many. Their sizes are moderate, not soo big. Please comment

i planted marketmore. it was 50days or less

That is effect of insects. i think it is handwork of cabbage looper or its family. i saw a creature that looks like one. i then employ CYPERMETHRIN DIMETHOATE.

Neem leaves (dongoyaro) soaked in water for 7 days and sprayed on the leaves once in 15 days is safer alternative to that pesticide... It's cheaper and safer. You will get excellent result when the soil is treated with neem leaves mixture before planting.

How to go about it ? I mean the pre-planting application. Have you used it before? I think preplanting will deal with the nematodes and other insects in the soil.
