King Jaja's son, Sunday married a white woman (Scottish to be exact) and they gave birth to MacPepple (Jeki the 3rd) who was a white man in all ramifications and that's how the Kingdom started having fair princes and princesses.
peleson:
We don't have empirical evidence those were his wives! Women then wore clothes just as the king himself wore! The king has a white bloodline! King Jaja the 5th!

I always say it is we humans that make certain body parts mystical. If a woman turns out bare chested like this today she will be crucified and condemned to the pit of hell by hypocritical pundits. People will still chase and rape women even in climes where they are covered from head to toe. It is the heart of man that needs cleansing.

Some people may not know it but King Jaja of Opobo was an Igbo slave from Orlu in present day Imo state who was sold into slavery. I read somewhere that they still speak some form of Igbo in Opobo.
not some form of Igbo, they speak correct igbo and culture is the same.I married from queens town Opobo and I did my traditional marriage here too.I was amazed that the culture and tradition is the same with mine.they sand and dance in Igbo and also Igbo proverb.I am from Abia state and my wife speaks igbo more than me.the whole of Opobo speaks Igbo and bears Igbo name too.but I think they re a mixture of Ijaws and ibos.

God bless whoever invented Bra. I just can't imagine walking without a bra. I just can't imagine that!

If up until now,bra hasn't been invented....No man would be moved by the sight of it now,cos we all would be used to it,like we looking at a human head, hand or leg.

you see, then women weren't beautiful as they are today, and p0rn were not there to rig the minds of men, olosho don't stand along *streets*pathways to lure men.

Then it was how many tubers of yams, basket of fish and palm oil sales that attract them.

There was a lot of slavery(I refer to internal slavery...not the Atlantic slave trade), wars, and exploitation back then.

King Jaja was kidnapped and sold into slavery as a child. Sure he turned out well....but did that have to happen?

Truth is, till this point in time to where we have evolved thus far, there is still a form of slavery or the other..

People are slaves to Religion.
People are slaves to Tradition.
People are slaves to Culture.

If u want to talk of inhumanity, there's still a lot of War going on in the middle East, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Gaza, Isreal,

Not to go that far, come right to our door step where Boko Haram has ravaged the Far North-east ..

Inside of Man from time immemorial has always been that infinite unknown that makes it always seem

"Ideals are Peaceful But History is Violent"
... Sgt Don "WarDaddy" Collier
World War l Veteran,

Died in World War ll in Germany 1945..

You c, Collier sums it up..

Ideals always seems peaceful but History is Violent..

That's why the Bible says, Right from the Days of John The Baptist, the Kingdom of Heaven suffers Violence and only the Violent taketh it by Force.

Balancing of force is really important. If you want me to illuminate you more on Forces, we'l need dig the archives to Dig up what "Isaac Newton" talked on Force and u'l see right where our current world is headed.

Life was way much easier.

Until what we know aint what we have been told, then we don't truly know.

Atimes I could be very critical and think maybe there's need for a "New World Order"

The old order has really failed humanity.

He's not from Orlu, he's from Amaigbo in Nwangele LGA. I have personally been to his village where he was kidnapped and sent to Opobo. Saw massive pots and slave chains used in the slave period. A former minister of foreign affairs, Prof Walter ofonagoro is from there. It's about 45 minutes drive from Owerri. Because he had such a great legacy in Opobo, people from Opobo love visiting his home town.
Really? Will love to visit there too smiley

They do, However they were once the most civilized even million times more civilize than what you think civilization is. The question you should ask is why were they like this? What kind of civilization made the iro and the buba and the aso oke and the Igbo traditional clothing?
Never conclude without questioning.

thank God for civilization cause these women look wierd,I just cant imagine.

no doubt, king Jaja has a very rich heritage and I believe the first picture is not a true reflection of his great heritage, however,u must remember that king Jaja has a black american lady who was his palace secretary and one other woman of african decent from Jamaica or Haiti who also worked for him.a closer look at the picture u posted, one can still see women who dressed in native attire with open bossom.this might just be the tradition then.truly king jaja was very rich and highly influential,I think a lot can still be explored including archives and pictures about this great man.I am interested becos I married from Opobo.Queens town precisely and I dare say that Opobo is a wonderful island

King jaja was my brother. He hailed from umuokpara, eluowerre ubahu in Amaigbo of Nwangele L.G.A in Imo State. His lineage still rule in our village. He was stubborn and was sold during slave trade.

The tallest of the wives, the second standing from the right has a modern babe's body. Flat tummy, good bréãsts, tall, an hourglass shape; she could pass for a model.
King Jaja has eyes for good women.

King Jaja whose real name was Mbanaso Okwaraozurumba, the third son of Mr and Mrs Okwaraozurumba was born at Úmuduruõha Amaigbo in 1821, present day Imo state. He was Igbo with Ibani nationality. Hausa and Fulani taps so much from their hybrid heritage. Ijaw and Igbo must start doing same.

Ofcourse yes,He was an igbo from our own river basin, how do you suppose he became a big chief middleman with exclusive european trading rights on firearms, firewhisky, slaves and palmoil?Only a strategic business thinker can have extensive contacts reaching deep into the igbo heartland down to the coast across different clans and trade routes up to the ports of Liverpool,Rotterdam,Southampton,Lisbon etc.Even to this day,his birthplace people and region are still in the business of supplyin 100% of Nigeria's palm oil need.

Not all Jajas are direct descendants of King Jaja. A lot of people who accompanied him on the trip to found Opobo took his surname as a sign of respect.

yea I'm sure they're not all direct descendants. The Ijaw culture is not avers to but indeed encouraged d adoption of strangers, servants and slaves in to the family with full rights and priviledges
