being transparent... they know they would not steal.
Re: Buhari And Osinbajo Declare Their Assets by Nobody: 9:34pm On May 30, 2015
It seems public declaration of assets and liability would shatter that image of a "poor" Buhari. It would expose an obvious lie that he borrowed money to obtain APC's presidential form while sponsoring his kids in expensive UK universities.

It's not only those that steal public money who are corrupt, those that can't keep what they wittingly promised are also morally bankrupt.
Buhari must make a public declaration in tandem with what he promised and his balance sheet had better 'aligned' with his image.

Jonathan has declared assets – CCB chairman.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/09/jonathan-has-declared-assets-bureau-chairman/

Jonathan did same during his time, what we need now is public declaration not same old secret declaration.

Why didn't they make the declaration public after all the noise?

Of course the form can be made public. Did want them to declare on NTA or CNN?

They have declared it's left for the media to get the content and broadcast.

Stop trying to make excuses for Buhari!
Did he not know he'll be sworn in on Friday? His total assets ought to be in place and ready to be made public before swearing in!

He has absolutely no defence.

But what will making it public change from any of the normal ugly intentions? Won't we be forced to believe what ever is revealed even?
I'm only interested in the promised change - not on whether declared or not!

Not made public...hmmmmmm

What other reason will they have not to declare their assets publicly other than to steak public funds or to hide assets that have been acquired illegally?

We can't drive the clueless away only to end up with the mediocre!!!!!!....

There's no other reason not to publicly declare your assets other than intended corruption or to hide past corruption!!!!

It is either God has decided to punish you for GEJ's sins or you are just being daft. Can't you comprehend simple English? They have declared their assets publicly and you can read the papers tomorrow for details. Sometimes fools like you need to be cut to size. You may wish to trek to Bayelsa and die in Otuoke. Buhari is Nigerian President and your father's president for the next four years at least. mtcheeeeeeew

I wonder if some people read to understand or just for comment sake. their asset is to be declared as prescribed by the constitution. until you know what the prescribed section and subsection says, then shut up!!!!!
Re: Buhari And Osinbajo Declare Their Assets by somegirl1: 10:14pm On May 30, 2015
Are declared assets verified or do we take their words for it?
What stops one with criminal intent from declaring more than he's actually worth?

Pmb has so many debt to settle, he has to refund money used for campaigns, replace the money he has spent so far on Boko haram, so declaring assets publicly will not go well with him.
