Jesus According To Bible And Christians by shahydbinaliyu(m): 6:29pm On Jun 05, 2015
Christians have this belief that Jesus (May God bless him) is the literal son of God. This claim, if studied in detail, is not made once by Jesus (May God bless him) himself in the Bible. He again and again says that he cannot do anything without the will of God Almighty who has sent him. Is Jesus (May God bless him) the son of God “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). This definition of the words son of God makes it clear that anybody can be a son of God (not literally but metaphorically; God does not beget nor is He begotten and translations have conveyed an incorrect picture). Since we are not literal sons of God, if would be appropriate to use the words

If one claims that this is not true and Jesus (May God bless him) is the literal son of God, then his/her claim is proven otherwise from the Bible by the following: ‘Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the SON OF GOD.” LUKE 3:38 “That the SONS OF GOD saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took wives of all which they chose. “. . when the SONS OF GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown .” GENESIS 6:2
Some facts about son of God: In Hebrew Abbott means father and in Arabic Abb means father. In Hebrew Abel means ‘son of’ and in Arabic Abd means ‘servant of’. In Hebrew ben means son of and in Arabic bin means son of. In Hebrew beni Elohim means son of God and in Arabic beni means People of. Translation error. Son of God means servant of God. The Greek word found in the text for Jesus is “pais“. It can be used in Greek for either “son” or “servant.” The New KJV bible uses the word ‘servant‘ instead of ‘son‘. We now know that when Jesus uses the word father for God, he is actually using the word Lord.
God does not beget nor is He begotten and translations have conveyed an incorrect picture). Since we are not literal sons of God, SERVANT OF GOD. God to marry a nation .........this is clear blasphemy...
Thus- saith the Lord, Israel is MY SON even my FIRSTBORN.” EXODUS 4:22 ” . . and Ephraim is my FIRSTBORN,” JEREMIAH 31:9...in that context jesus not the firsst son. Concerned the people who translated the bible were not inspired by God, so mistakes were made.....so u admitted bible is not words of God. For the following 14 years, Ishmael was Abraham's only child. Later, Abraham's first wife Sarah bears him a son, Isaac (Gen 21:1-5). After the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac, God's promise to bless the families of the earth through Abraham's descendants was repeated: (Genesis 17:4) As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shall be a father of many nations.
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-19)........Yves Forevereturns and stop bringing old news.
You have used the Bible to justify Jesus's Crucifiction by Just 1 verse. I use the same Bible to justify that the Crucifiction did not take place.

The most significant theme of the Passover festival as celebrated by Christians is the representation of Jesus the Christ as the Passover Sacrifice (Korban Pesach). In simple terms, his sacrifice (read as: death) is seen as the sacrifice of all sacrifices through which their salvation was earned, mirroring the salvation of the Israelites from Pharaoh by YHWH (Cf. Leviticus 17:11, 1 Corinthians 5:7).
Re: Jesus According To Bible And Christians by shahydbinaliyu(m): 6:30pm On Jun 05, 2015
Early and contemporary Christian Churches have attempted to equate the Korban Pesach with the alleged death of Jesus the Christ to establish a theological foundation for their doctrine of salvation (Cf. soteriology). Such a doctrine is best explained in the following words: “The early Jewish believers in Jesus considered him the fulfillment of the Passover lambs that were yearly sacrificed. Thus Paul, a Jewish Christian who had studied under Rabbi Gamaliel, wrote, “Messiah, our pesach, has been sacrificed for us”
John in his gospel noted that Jesus died at the same time that the Passover lambs were being slaughtered in the Temple (see John 19:14) and that like the Passover lambs, none of his bones were broken (the others being crucified had their leg bones broken by the Romans—John 19:32, 33, 36). The idea behind all this was that just as the Israelites were redeemed from Egyptian slavery by an unblemished lamb, now men could be freed from slavery to sin by the Messiah, the Lamb of God.”[1]
Does Jesus Fulfill the Requirements of Being the Passover Sacrifice? The Korban Pesach has numerous requirements to fulfill before it is accepted as such[2]. 1. It must be an animal, either a lamb or a goat. “The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats.” as is stated in Exodus 12:5. To the contrary, Jesus was a male human, not a sheep or a goat. 2. It must be a 1 year old animal (Cf. Exodus 12:5). Jesus was a 33 year old male. 3. The blood of the sacrificed 1 year old male lamb or goat is to be placed on the doorframes of the houses where the animal was to be eaten, “Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs.” as is stated in Exodus 12:7. Jesus’ blood was not used for this purpose (rather at all) and none of the disciples thought of doing this, thus demonstrating their belief that he was not the sacrificial 1 year old lamb or goat

From the Bible itself, we have seen that the current concept of Jesus the Messiah being represented as the Passover Lamb is not founded in the Mitzvot as given in the Old Testament. Christ fails every criteria to be considered the Passover Sacrifice, his disciples did not see him (as we see from their very actions) as the sacrifice for they even sacrificed a lamb for that day, from which Jesus himself ate! If Jesus is the Passover lamb, how can the sacrifice eat the sacrifice?
when we read the Bible, we find that Yahweh is also described as being a deceiver and using deception. Obviously someone hasn’t done their homework, or what we’re seeing here is a very bad play of double standards, i.e. it’s ok if Yahweh deceives, but when Allah does it then it’s the end of the world and how can you remain a Muslim? Here is the Bible clearly describing deception being used by Yahweh: "And if the prophet be deceived and speak a word,I, Jehovah, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel." (Ezekiel 14:9) According to the above verse, if there is a prophet deceived and speaks a false word because of that deception, for which he will be destroyed, it is Yahweh who has actually deceived that prophet. It doesn’t end there, according to the Bible, Yahweh approved of and sent a lying spirit: And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’ “One suggested this, and another that. Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said. “‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.’ “So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you.” (2 Kings 22:20-23) Thus it’s become quite clear that the God of the Bible, Yahweh, employs deceit and deception. Will the missionaries be consistent now, condemn their own God, and abandon him?
14:9) According to the above verse, if there is a prophet deceived and speaks a false word because of that deception, for which he will be destroyed, it is Yahweh who has actually deceived that prophet. It doesn’t end there, according to the Bible, Yahweh approved of and sent a lying spirit: And the Lord said, IS YAHWEN AN EVILDOER..... And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. [Exodus 32:14]

After this, Jesus went around in Galilee, purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life. But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near, Jesus' brothers said to him, "You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world." For even his own brothers did not believe in him. Therefore Jesus told them, "The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil. You go to the Feast. I am not yet going up to this Feast, because for me the right time has not yet come." Having said this, he stayed in Galilee. However, after his brothers had left for the Feast, he went also, not publicly, but in secret. (John 7:1-10) How many Christians have overlooked this verse? The footnote regarding John 7:8 says “Some early manuscripts do not have yet”. The word ‘yet’ was added to later manuscripts to cover up the lie..........ACCORDING TO YHE BIBLE

2- The Jesus of the Bible is a hypocrite: Let us look at the following from the Bible: "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed.... (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 16:39) " "So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 26:44) " "One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. (From the NIV Bible, Luke 6:12) " "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions , as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be HEARD FOR THEIR MUCH SPEAKING. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. (From the KJV Bible, Matthew 6:5-cool " Matthew 26:36-44
"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed.... (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 16:39) " "So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 26:44).......explain this verse. Historical and spiritual significance The ritual re-enacts Abraham ( Ibrāhīm )'s pilgrimage to Mecca as explained by the Muslim historian al-Azraqi : "When he [Abraham] left Mina and was brought down to (the defile called) al-Aqaba, the Devil appeared to him at Stone-Heap of the Defile. Gabriel said to him: "Pelt him!" so Abraham threw seven stones at him so that he disappeared from him. Then he appeared to him at the Middle Stone- Heap. Gabriel said to him: "Pelt him!" so he pelted him with seven stones so that he disappeared from him. Then he appeared to him at the Little Stone-Heap. Gabriel said to him: "Pelt him!" so he pelted him with seven stones like the little stones for throwing with a sling . So the Devil withdrew from him." [5] All three jamarāt represent the devil: the first and largest represents his temptation of Abraham against sacrificing Ishmael ( Ismāʿīl); the second represents the temptation of Abraham's wife Hājar to induce her to stop him; the third represents his temptation of Ishmael to avoid being sacrificed. He was rebuked each time, and the throwing of the stones symbolizes those rebukes. The stoning of the jamarāt also represents the repudiation of man's self ( an- nafs al-'amāra , literally the "internal despot"wink and the act of casting aside one's low desires and wishes. As one Islamic theologian states: "If one is able to crush al‑nafs al‑'amāra during the stoning of Jamrat al‑ʿAqaba (the Jamrah of Aqaba), then one has taken the next step in attaining closeness to Allah , and since between the servant and Allah there is no more than the distance of one step, if one has been able to take this step and make it past one's own low desires and wishes, then that which follows is the level of closeness to Allah. "During those two or three days after the Eid that one is in Mina, one must stone the three jamarāt, meaning that one must trample upon his internal despot ( an-nafs al-'amāra ), the external despot of the Shaitan from the Jinn (Iblīs and those like him), and the Shayṭān from among the Humans (the enemies of religion and of humanity). "The stoning of the three jamarāt is, in essence, the trampling upon the despots and waging war against all of them. When one focuses on them and the hatred for them, then one automatically focuses with complete attention upon one's self – and rightfully so – while stoning the jamarāt, one must focus entirely upon one's self. The lamb or goat is to be roasted over a fire and consumed the night of Passover, “ That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs and internal organs .” as seen in Exodus 12:8-9. Jesus was never roasted over a fire. If he was seen as the sacrificial lamb or goat, he would have been roasted over a fire and consumed. 5. Jesus had the Passover meal according to Matthew, Mark and Luke[3]. If he had the Passover meal and ate the sacrificial lamb (which he commanded his followers to sacrifice and prepare for), then how could he be the sacrificial lamb!?

If Jesus is the Passover lamb, how can the sacrifice eat the sacrifice? Given all of this, another major problem exists, where Jesus was clearly not sacrificed for Passover in 3 of the 4 Gospel narratives, creating a significant anachronistic problem! One solution to the narrative in John was to suppose that John used a different calendar, or possibly they used the exception of the law concerning the timing of the feast as is found in Numbers 9:9-12 (however this contradicts Matthew 26:59-60 and Luke 23:4). One Christian website concedes to this difficulty [4]: “In conclusion we must say that we may not be able to determine the precise situation alluded to in John 18:28.”

There is no authenticity for the idea that when Prophet Abraham threw stones at the Devil, the devil turned into stones. The three pillars called " jamarat" placed at Mina for the hajj ritual were constructed recently. The " jamarat" are not the devils. They are only symbolic representations of the Devil, one may say, dwelling within ourselves. When we throw stones at the stone pillars, we ought to know that by this act, we drive away the devil from our own hearts.
Human sacrifice is a pagan ritual which dates back thousands of years. Jesus could not have been a ‘human sacrifice’ because the practice was not Jewish, but pagan. The Jews believed they’d crucified Jesus to prove he was false (Deu. 13:5, 21:23), yet God saved Jesus from the cross (Psalms 20:6). Blood sacrifice is the oldest and most universal act of piety. The offering of animals, including the human animal, dates back at least twenty thousand years, and, depending on how you read the scanty archaeological evidence, arguably back to the earliest appearance of humanity. Many religions recount the creation of man through the bloody sacrifice of a God-man --a divinity who is torn apart to sow the seeds of humanity. (Patrick Tierney, The Highest Altar: The Story of Human Sacrifice, Acharya’s Suns of God)
The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, on the first new moon of the second year following the exodus from the land of Egypt, saying: Let the Israelite people offer the passover sacrifice at its set time: you shall offer it on the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, at its set time; you shall offer it in accordance with all its rites and rules — Num. 9:1–3, JPS translation.
Jesus was teaching his disciples in the outer court of the Temple and one of them said unto him: Master, it is said by the priests that without shedding of blood there is no remission. Can then the blood offering of the law take away sin? And Jesus answered: No blood offering, of beast or bird, or man, can take away sin, for how can the conscience be purged from sin by the shedding of innocent blood? Nay, it will increase the condemnation. (Gospel of the Nazorenes, online Source) God hates human sacrifice: The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin. (Deuteronomy 24:16) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (Ezekiel 18:20) To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. (Isaiah 1:11)
John is the only gospel that portrays Jesus as "Lamb of God" but Jesus never applied the title for himself. Augustine developed the titles for the Roman Catholic Church; he also developed the "original sin". The apostles never claimed Jesus was God- incarnate, let alone God's lamb. There was a Jewish sect called the Ebionites who accepted Jesus as the Messiah, but they never said he was God's son. Jesus denied sacrifice (Matt. 9:13, 12:7, Hosea 6:6) and preached the Law of Moses (Matt. 5:17-20) which contradicts Atonement (Deu. 24:16, Psalms 40:6, Micah 6:7-cool. Christians believe the exact opposite of the Bible (Proverbs. 21:18). Pagan title! Jesus is called "Lamb of God" because he took away the sins of mankind, yet the title is false because Jesus was not crucified (Psalms 20:6) so therefore he was not the Lamb of God.
All human beings are servants of God (1 Peter 2:16), so it’s blasphemy to worship Jesus. The Gospels record Jesus saying: 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain ; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' (Matthew 15:8-10) "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.". (Luke 6:47-49)
The origin of “Lamb of God” is the Book of Revelations, which is completely unreliable. "Four times the author identifies himself as John (1:1,4,9; 22:cool.....In the third century, however, an African bishop named Dionysius compared the language, style and thought of the Apocalypse (Revelation) with that of the other writings of John and decided that the book could not been written by the apostle of John. He suggested that the author was a certain John the Presbyter, whose name appears elsewhere in ancient writings. Although many today follow Dionysius in his view of authorship, the external evidence seems overwhelmingly supportive of the traditional view. (From the NIV Bible Commentary, page 1922)" “…In determining the canon, both Tradition and Magisterium come into play, as is logical, since the books of the Bible cannot canonize themselves. For diverse reasons, some of the books of the New Testament were doubted in the first centuries of the Church…These included the Letter to the Hebrews, the Letter of James, the Book of Revelation, the Letters of 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, and Jude. In some cases, as in the Letter to the Hebrews and 2 and 3 John, there were questions of authenticity – some doubted that they were truly written by Saints Paul and John the apostle. [1] Yet, as a matter of fact, every book in the New Testament with the exception of the four great Epistles of St. Paul is at present more or less the subject of controversy, and interpolation are asserted even in these (Encyclopedia Britannica, 12 th edition, vol. 3, Chicago: E.B. Inc., 1922. p. 643) [2]

The Church borrowed the pagan title and gave it to Jesus: It needs to be better known that the true sign of Christianity for the earliest centuries of Church history was not a crucifix---a cross bearing the figure of Jesus---but either a bare cross or one with a lamb fastened to it. In the entire iconography of the catacombs, no figure of a man on a cross appears for the first six or seven centuries of the era. It will come as a surprise to many that the first known figure of a god on a cross is a likeness of the sun god Orpheus from some three centuries B.C.E. The crucifix on the amulet on the cover of The Jesus Mysteries, by Freke and Gandy, clearly depicts this image. Not until 692, in the reign of Emperor Justinian, was it decreed by the Church (through the Trullan Council) that the figure of the historical Jesus on the cross should supersede that of “the lamb, as in former times”. (Tom Harper, The Pagan Christ, pp. 45-46)
The Christian claim is that John the Baptist knew who Jesus was, and positively identified him as the ‘lamb of God’ in John 1:29. But if John the Baptist knew Jesus so well as to identify him with certainty in John 1:29, why, then did he question Jesus years later, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” (Matthew 11:3). Amongst those who have difficulty rectifying Old and New Testament references are the Catholic clergy themselves.

The Israelites used to sacrifice a lamb on the Day of Atonement, but Jesus was not a lamb. Jesus wasn’t even crucified! The Old Testament teaches that human sacrifice is wrong.

Thus- saith the Lord, Israel is MY SON even my FIRSTBORN.” EXODUS 4:22 ” . . and Ephraim is my FIRSTBORN,” JEREMIAH 31:9...in that context jesus not the first son.

Hi Bro..
It is not easy to finish through the lines of your articles above. However, I need a simple truth in reply to my question to you as this: Is it true that the Quran is authorized by God and error-free as claimed?

I need a proof of correctness before I will say anything.

Thanks to you,
with love to share the truth.

shahydbinaliyu:

Christians have this belief that Jesus (May God bless him) is the literal son of God. This claim, if studied in detail, is not made once by Jesus

Joh_10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

The quran adress Jesus by his mother name,IN WHAT CULTURE IS A MAN ADRESS BY HIS MOTHER NAME? both the Qur’an and the Bible tell us very clearly that Jesus had no human father. We must therefore ask ourselves this vital question, “Since Jesus is addressed as a ‘son’ by the angel Gabriel both in the Qur’an (Surah 19:19) and in the Bible (Luke 1:35), whose son is he?” Is it Mary’s? In Surah 19:19, the angel Gabriel said to Mary: “I am only a
messenger of thy Lord, to announce to
thee the GIFT of a holy son .” Here,
Gabriel refers to a son who was to be
given as a “GIFT” by God to Mary. Since
the Qur’an makes it very clear that the
son is a gift from God, it shows that Mary was only the recipient of that gift. She is not the source of that gift but God. The gift belongs to God. The gift was a son. Therefore, the son belongs to God which means the son was His or His
son. In other words, God’s son. This
testifies to the Gospel truth that Jesus is
the Son of God.

It should be expected that the Truth (as it is in Christ Jesus) should suffer such attacks down through the ages! From Eden (Genesis 3:1-7, the engineer of all the aforestated efforts overplayed his hands and the same pattern continues today:
i) Twist the Word of God;or (why? this was even the tool employed by his emissaries who condemned Jesus to death!)

ii) Claim it does not mean what it says (refer to ancient languages & 'scrolls' {most of which have his fingerprints} which moderns know little about);

iii) Present God Who gave it as being insincere or unloving or unfair or at most an author of confusion;

iv) Give a cloned version of the Divine plan with inducements that appeal to the flesh;

Other things he does include:

v) Adopting that which has been discarded for deceptive purposes. etc

If these fail, eliminate them physically.

The father of lies will be jobless if there was no Truth and he works round the clock to corrupt the Truth!

Hence these manipulations which the op exults in (in this and other threads,) should be expected.

This diminishes nothing from us though.

laughing in Chinese.... you even contradict yourself... you quoted from bible and quran to tell us who Jesus is called and you leave bible and quran out of your conclusion on who Jesus is really is.... very sadistic..

now... did bible call Jesus son of God? did Jesus call himself son of God? how many times Jesus is called son of God and son of man in bible? how many people are called son of God in bible? how many people were called begotten son of God in bible? ... after you answer that question... draw your conclusion... if you really understand.. you will see that son of God means servant of God or prophet of God.....

and concerning Quran... as we all know that bible is just a story book, that's why nobody knows any of the bible writers. that's why it's so contradictory, its only Quran that can clear it's truth and show us its lie.. bible confirms the book of Moses and book of David... and Quran confirms all of them... Quran let us know that Jesus is one of the miracle of the our creator...

Simply meaning God ceased from the work of creation at the time indicated (and that only). Hebrews 4:10
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

The tenor of your post betrays your intention; this explanation is given for the benefit of the curious but unbiased.
