Lol.. sayin 'ahuru m gi n'anya' is not very romantic .. but you can just mix it up. For me, I'd rather say ahuru m gi n'anya than 'I love you'. It sounds funny and eases up the tension |

XavierBlue:Ibibio is a very unsexy language. I'm not a guy but you may want to modify the bolded. It sounds a little raunchy . |

Rxpetite:permit my vacuity before writing the bolded. I intended to sound humorous. Pertaining to your claim that ibibio is an unsexy dialect, i vervely oppose that statement. It your opinion and i respect it, couple with the fact that you're feminine . Am an akwa ibomite and i have my reasons for my claims. We have the right to impugn on the matter and i respect your opinion on it. XavierBlue |

XavierBlue:I'm igbo and as much as I love the language, I don't advise anyone to "toast" anybody using the language. Its good for cracking jokes, arguing, gossiping, insulting, discussion and even rapping. But trying to sound romantic in igbo is just impossible. As for ibibio, no offense but i've never fancied the language. I think hausa is the most romantic. Yoruba may pass if you mix it with a lot of English. Just my two cents |

Am a Yoruba guy and I hardly speak Yoruba talkless of wooing a Lady in Yoruba. I know it's a kinda shameful but I don't just love the thing thang ting of the Bing bang Bing. I stop speaking Yoruba because when I do speak Yoruba it sounds like a female voice nd me don't want trouble of sort |
