You don't pay for transmission from VFS to Canadian Embassy since you did your biometrics there. Last Tuesday, I paid N4690 for courier delivery during passport submission since I didn't want to collect it in person. I received my passport yesterday through UPS.

If you wish to send your passport to them by courier. I think you might have to include a self-addressed envelope and pay for the cost of the return. You can discuss that with the courier company. I will recommend UPS.

Cheers!

Thank you so much @JohnDuke259, you have been very helpful to me, too bad i'm seeing this message now i could have use UPS since that's what the VFS uses maybe it might be a little easier for them to post back, i have been waiting for your response since i know you are the latest guy that submit passport lately, but then i decided to to just post it, thank God i did not pay the Transmission fee grin, but any ways i use DHL to send the passport and included a prepaid return envelope for the return. i have track my passport on DHL website and it's already half way to Lagos, hopefully i will get it back next week with my TRV grin

Hi guys,
I hope this helps the newbies looking for what or which documents to submit, Vicarsenal complied this in part 7.
Its a list of documents submitted by some succesful applicants.
Pls Note that everyone's case is different and what works for suliya might not work for silifa.

All the best everyone.

You are welcome! There is no cause for alarm. Relax and your passport will be delivered to you though it would have been easier with UPS.

Cheers!

Please if am to apply for a post graduate/ masters degree in Canada how do I go about it. Thanks

Step 1: go to Google and type in the school you are interested in attending. If you don't have a school in mind then u Google, schools in Canada offering pgd in blablabal (ur desired field)

Step 2: go to the school site and look up the the program length and admission requirement. Taking into consideration the application deadline.

Step 3: gather ur application docs, like transcript and all those stuff then go back to the site and apply, then pay the application fee with ur naija Mastercard.

Step 5: sit down and wait for the school to process ur application. If u are given admission then jump to step 6. If you are denied (god forbid) you apply to other schools that their program tickle your fancy.

Step 6: come back to this forum after you get admission and we shall all help you will documents for visa and stuff.

Hope this helps sir. If u need more info on schools u can drop ur prog and I can give my 2 cent regarding schools in different province. Stay blessed

I am a Hong Kong student and just won a full cover scholarship (as HKD1,600,000 in tatal) to study in UofT, Canada.
I have submitted everything with the first application.
And the Embassy was rejected me as my personal assets/ financial status is not satisfied.

Actually, my mother was retired for few years, and my bank is almost empty.
I thought the Visa Officer will approve my application as I had provided the Scholarship document and admission letter from UofT before.
However...they just denied me cry cry cry cry

What can I do now?
Will they approve my reapply if I ask the Charitable Trust transfers 2 years amount (full tuition fee, accommodation , living expenses) to my bank acc?

I'm sorry but if he was denied based on personal assests they have no problem with his sponsor but with him..
If one is sponsored by an organisation, he/she should try to use a co-sponsor or tender his own soa

Am sorry if all this questions has been super annoying, I can understand and am deeply sorry for the stress.
I just got this trend dis evening and I know it will be very vital for me as I plan to apply for my canada visa soon
I just applied to study for my MBA in canada and the school mailed me yesterday that I will receive an offer this week.
As I hope to receive their offer before Friday, I wish to ask with pardon, the required documents that will be needed during application as I don't want to give chance for excuse.
Thanks in anticipation

Two semesters how? Explain that part, please.
Paper route is perfect for late applications in my opinion; also, because of the lateness of your application, it is within reason that you have medicals upfront so your app is processed faster.

@darefestus
you know the letter of admission is only valid for one semester, but they said because of ebola outbreak in africa, study permit processing will take longer than usual. 4-6mnts. so the letter of admission will be valid till jan2016, so as to gv embassy enough time.
