kykybfo: She should go for the medical. when I went for mine I asked the consultant who said it wasn't part of the test routine they run but if it gets flagged up it will not necessarily affect your TRV. (Not sure how true this is but I have searched cic sites yet to find a place where it categorically states that pregnancy is a reason for not granting a visa). Although it's a very general opinion and scare that it is (yet to be proven). Since your friend has gotten to this stage she has to go for it and see how things play |

Crich: It's a good thing you know it's a public forum, so I can say what I love and what I don't, that's why it's public (or you need a dictionary to jog your vocab?) And No, there is no reason for anything! |

nifeicon: Everyone is allowed to change career path if they desire. I think they come up with this excuse based the the economic situation of our beloved country, where every youth is looking to elope. To tackle this, the onus is on u to churn out a detailed letter describing why u looking to change course /career path at this time. All other documents seem perfect. Purpose of visit is glaring: school, innit? So Whatelse do they want to hear or see. Yes, you are allowed to do phd, not everyone is psychologically or financially reason for masters or phd. With this been said Sir, I would advise u focus on the sop. If you can answer these questions on the sop it might be of help 1) why the program 2) why are you looking to change career path 3) why pgd and not masters 4) how will ur skill be valuable to the Nigerian job market at this time. As employers in Nigeria are complaining that they lack skilled personnel. 5) why canada These guys know that a lot of us won't come back. I see on most sop "I want to come back to Nigeria to set up an ngo, business or help the needy" so thinking out of the box is vehement. A colleague wrote on his SOP. " a graduate without work experience isn't beneficial to an employer. As such, my short term plan after graduation is to work for 3 years in Canada, the international experience I must have gained in Canada coupled with my educational qualification will make me a valuable and sort after professional when I return back to my country in 5yrs" - DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. He was given the visa sha lol. 5 Likes |

I might have been delayed o.... I just tracked now and it's bn dispatched. I feel I should recieve a LOI...Even if I did upfront medicals. Na until I go pick my passport I go know as e dey go..come yarn my guys.. My 1 cent for guys is to observe that the pendulum has swung ooo... Canada doesn't need your extra documents. All my guys outside dis forum barely submitted annything. And if u observe what we join together here I feel it's now doing more harm than good. Well....till I get my passport sha...But already thinking ahead.. Cheers.. All of a sudden Kosi pressure. |

mevisbleek: A "Bleep You bro" would be best response you would have given me just now for what I said and not this humble reply you just typed.. Oh I get, you just submitted you app, ya, it won't be good to have bad manners (good manners get prayers answered) , so there won't be a reason to everything. |
