What initiative ? We all may not know who drew up the Master plan for Lagos State but It wasn't Fashola.

The original plan is just being implemented with a few tweaks here and there.
Fashola's original contributions to Lagos are the vocation centres and LASTMA.

I think I need to look up my dictionary for the definition of technocrat but the former governor doesn't seem to qualify.
NOI, former Agriculture minister Akinwunmi and Emir Sanusi are typical examples of technocrats in my opinion.

I don't know how anyone ever arrived at the conclusion that the former governor is a technocrat. He's a politician.

I was being diplomatic pending any explanation from his supporters. Though, I was not impressed with the state of Lagos the last time I went there, but I still like to keep an open mind. Can you believe they are still suffering from flooding in 2015?

That is the overrated performance some people have been complaining about. Its not even about being elitist. Satellite town, parts of surulere and even V/I Lekki are affected by that.

If PMB has any use for him, I would suggest the following appointments

1. Chief "Political" adviser

2. Prosecutor in Chief of the federation(Min. Of Justice).

Everybody is talking about Fashola n talk bad about Tinubu but u have all forgotten that without Tinubu going against all odd n stand by Fashola as his candidate for Lagos Governor who won't b in lime light today, the making of Aregbesola today was Tinubu, Fayemi of Ekiti, Ajimobi n Amosun, Oshiomole, dey have all benefitted from Tinubu leadership n mind u if u remove d man's efforts from dis last election PDP would have won, Buhari has nvr won any state in d southwest until he form alliance with d ACN under Tinibu leadership, u can call him watever u wnt, som1 whom Obasanjo couldn't kill his political career, is it ordinary Bukola Saraki dat will now kill his career, plx wen did Bukola Saraki become APC national Leader. Remove Tinubu influence APC will be wipe out.

Can you stop showing me Houston please... yuck. Did I ever said there was any city that doesn't? The aim is to reduce the frequency of flooding, as it was the case in Manhattan, London(thames) etc.
Lagos is the commercial hub and it's obvious little has been done to solve the flooding problem in the state. Does it mean a proper drainage system will completely solve the flooding problem? No, but it will help reduce the the rate of flooding in the city.
Has there being any proper attempt to solve the flooding problem in Lagos?
Forget stating the obvious and look at the big picture. The amount Lagos will be losing everyyear is enough to justify an investment in a proper drainage systems and other infrastructures. A frequent drizzle is enough to cause flooding in Lagos, which is pathetic.

Is Tinubu truly worthy to be called a yoruba leader? Let's not get it twisted I also love tinubu with a passion, but it's not about me it's about the future of my country, my generation, and my children our children. Tinubu has not shown much integrity to assume the post of papa Awo as the yoruba voice and yoruba leader? He had the chance, but dirty greed will not let him. Tinubu wants to be a type of god in lagos were he demands tithes from lagos revenue and even other SW states he installs a governor. He starts by being a mentor and ends up being a tormentor as he sizes power from the original elected person and runs the government from his ikoyi residence. He must be very un intelligent to try that with buhari, Buhari is not tinubu's mate in anything. When buhari was head of state tinubu was still saying yes sir to his employers. He always thinks he can have his way with every 1. Which is very unfortunate. What I think Buhari is doing is in 2 folds. I think he is mentoring Fashola into stepping into Papa Awo's shoes because he's more credible to attain the position than tinubu, and also he is tapping from fashola's limitless creative ingenuity. PMB is a true states man. We yoruba's can do better than people like tinubu being presented as our leader. He doesn't credible enough. He had his chance but he blew it. At the end of Buhari's regime fashola would have attained tha stature of the true yoruba leader while tinubu and lai mohammed who have out used their usefulness will retire from politics. Because all they want his oil wells and huge contract. They don't give a damn about your well being or good governance. It surprises me that rape victims are routing for the rapist? Total foolishness! This is the story of Nigeria. Nigeria is bigger than any of us. Nigeria much change for the better we don't care who will loose out! Nigeria is not your any bodies stock market? or private business. If you lack integrity and empathy for the common man?Then off u go
