This is silly and totally uncalled for. If indeed true, it was obviously a slip of the tongue. If you guys are so keen on criticising, at least make it constructive. Yes, I have some issues with some of the steps he's taken so far, but this silliness is getting out of hand. |

HzRF:Buhari is obviously not perfect and we all know his shortcomings too well. There's no doubt he would even make many more of these errors in future. However, as long as he can instill fear in the petrol import cabal that has grounded our refineries for decades, as long as he can ensure our 4 refineries are working at over 80% capacity, he totally has my support. Also, as long as he can instill fear in the cabal that grounds NEPA, If he can improve power supply in this Country, then he surely has my support. Finally, as long as his presence at the presidency can instill discipline in the public service and reduce the diabolic corruption of public officials, he totally has my support. If he can achieve the 3 things i mentioned above (I'm sure he can), then I can happily overlook it if he even speaks hausa when addressing the nation or even foreigners. Some needs are more pressing than others biko. 4 Likes |

biafransoul: Your benefactor ruled Nigeria for six years and left us with less than 2000 megawatts of energy production as a parting gift. PMB has been in office less than 30 days. Well, I'll hazard a guess: if you really want to know why that "zoo" (very apt choice) called Nigeria is unlucky, you and your benefactor can start by looking at the mirror. |

MizMyColi:ututuoma Who/what is bubu ? The last time I checked, the name of your president wasn't / isn't bubu. Give him some respect please. And pls can you tell me when or where buhari made the west Germany statement and then maybe I might eat my words back. You know good criticism is good and what you pdp guys are doing is not criticism but plain evil. |

Re: Tweeters Mock President Buhari by MizMyColi(f): 9:22am On Jun 12, 2015 |
kastonkastrol: Personally, I don't see BuBu as a mockery name. It's same way I refer to GEJ as Jona sometimes. I haven't joined the wagon of those calling him dullard et al. Now that's downright disrepectful, though I still get good laughs depending on how the statement is composed. Lastly, I don't think we should respect people because they deserve it. We should do so because it's our tradition. Even in Nonsense, there is sense. 12 Likes 3 Shares |

MizMyColi:you might be good with words and I respect you for that. People respect other people because they deserve it. I also respect you on this forum because you deserve it and that's the fact.. If one should go by your "we shouldn't respect people because they deserve it" comment, then you are also saying our parents don't deserve our respect because they don't actually deserve it. Look am not saying buhari is all perfect and what not, but we should give the man some time before we start throwing all the insults at him. He has not even spend 1month in office and you guys are already on his neck. Btw you can't tell me you haven't seen buhari's achievement in his past 13days in office |
Re: Tweeters Mock President Buhari by MizMyColi(f): 10:09am On Jun 12, 2015 |
kastonkastrol: Well Hannie, I've always maintained that my views aren't an absolute and are pretty much subject to change(s) I don't respect my parents because they deserve it, if I did, there are times I would be forced to disrespect them, because, they fall my hand too. I respect them because it's my tradition. Even when my Mom goofs, and I know I have to say something....out of anger, I might wanna say something rash, but that's where self control comes in....I simply remind myself that it is not in my nature to insult people, especially those who have authority over me. Now you must be on a long thing if you think I have never insulted anyone before. It is just that I have seen the damage my mouth can cause, so I had to advice myself to repent. For example, in this section, people have knowingly picked on me, said very crass things. Well guess what, I showed them a measure of respect by simply ignoring. The last thing I want is to finish insulting a person and then start feeling sorry for them. It's called respecting the feelings of the other person, even though they certainly don't deserve it. Hahhahahahahahha @BuBu's achievements Efforts you mean? Loool In other news, I'm beginning to like Buhari o. For real, no jokes. I mean, the fact that there are signs he's ignoring Tinubu and not playing his puppet..... If it continues that way... See, in my worldview, Tinubu's overbearing persona and highfalutin(ness) is a cancer any well meaning politician cannot afford to have around. I know you love him Bro, but hey, it's my view 1 Like |

imhotep:You see when Patience Jonathan and her husband were been insulted some people were quiet and observing. These are the people who are repaying their rivals now. The problem is how do you convince them that this is wrong when they were taught how to insult a leader by the very people now telling them that insulting your leader is bad. 15 Likes 1 Share |

HzRF:Read my statement again. I did not say he has done those thing, but I am quite positive and have strong faith that he is capable of achieving those. Besides, everyone knows the refineries have not been fixed yet. As for Sylva, the last time I checked, it was the court that released Sylva so I wonder when Buhari has suddenly become the head of the Nigerian judiciary. Also, remember Buhari hasn't even appointed any ministers yet, in fact he has hardly even taken over the country so if the release of those 2 men was 'arranged' as you allege, then I can bet you Jonathan has a hand in it (probably in a bid to appease his biggest political enemy closest to his home). |

Re: Tweeters Mock President Buhari by obailala(m): 11:38am On Jun 12, 2015 |
HzRF:Time will tell us the real reason why the case was struck out. As for the refinery, even since the days of OBJ, every year the government releases a budget for TAM, TAM and TAM but we all know nothing comes out of it because the blood sucking fuel import cabals made sure the TAMs were futile. GEJ ruled for 5 complete years and all the TAMs couldn't restore the refineries. March 28th, Buhari wins the election and the NNPC engineers and directors, certainly out of fear, decide to carry out a proper TAM for the first time in decades. Glory be to God, we have been promised that the refinery would start working at 80% capacity by July/August. Honestly, who should really take the glory for this CHANGE?... If you could hurriedly lump the blame of the judiciary striking out the case of corruption against Sylva on Buhari's head, I wonder why you can't see the Buhari factor in the unprecedented completion of the TAM on the PH refinery. |
