I'm looking at other schools for you. Did you say you have 8 years accounting experience? Have you considered the PR Route? A lot cheaper. I think you should explore that route.

omooba2015:

Thanks for your assistance, I did Accounting as my Bsc, I will prefer master in Accounting or MBA with cheap cost

The PR experts will be in a better position to answer this. I too will love to know the answer.

You can get your PR if you are eligible for it regardless of where you live/study. However, you would have extra 5points if you study in regional area and unfortunately Canberra is not a regional area. I would advise you to study in regional area because of the extra points which can go along way. Make sure that the course you want to study is on SOL/CSOL list and endeavor to gain experience in the same occupation. You must be aware that studying in Australia does not automatically translate to PR. You have to earn the points to be eligible. One could study for years in Australia and not be eligible for PR.

Okay bro, I had that In mind but it seems jobs aren't that much In regional areas. As someone has to be up and doing, so as to make ends meet. I googled up regional areas and this Is what I found below:

1.New South Wales except Sydney, Newcastle, the Central Coast and Wollongong
2.Queensland except the greater Brisbane area and the Gold Coast
3.Victoria except Melbourne metropolitan area
4.Western Australia except Perth and surrounding areas
5.South Australia Entire State
6.Tasmania Entire State
7.Northern Territory

What can you say bro?

Yes, you are correct based on the information available on immigration website.

Please see the link. It is stated that Canberra is not included.

Okay. I don't know so much about the PR.
Found a Victoria University, Melbourne. Could you look at it? MSc Accounting.

I really do not know much about student visa but only PR.
Some expats in that area can advise. You just google to check for those Schools.
I will advise you to study courses that are in demand. Check SOL/CSOL.

I think you should check the Total UOC's you'd need to graduate with. I think there are 4 semesters in a 2 year programme, excluding the summer semesters you may choose to enrol some courses in.

My honest opinion is that you should try the PR route (except of course you have lots and lots of money). How many years experience do you have? Are you hospital, community or industrial pharmacist? Pharmacy is currently on the CSOL list of about 3 states and God willing it remains so after July 1. However if you are considering PR, then you should move fast!! Starting with assessment of your qualifications

I just did internship and about rounding up NYSC in 3weeks time, that most of my experience and of course pp. What if I do a masters of pharmacy . And please which states still has pharmacist on their CSOL
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by chookudi(m): 3:58pm On Jun 13, 2015
Well you have very little work experience. The three states which have pharmacy are western Australia, northern territory(NT) and Queensland (for 489 visa I think). Canberra surprisingly also has it but applications for nominations have been closed for a while. Most of these states require at least one year work experience which your NYSC may provide but then I (you) have to check to be very sure. Since you just finished internship, I assume you are between 25-32. So if you can score at least 7 in ielts, you can be covered point wise. Note however, that the journey for PR for medically related courses is lengthier as you have to write the KAPS exam and pass before you can be granted your PR...

Things no one would tell you about new south wales;

1.so many asians here...about 80 percent if im not exaggerating, chinese tops the list.

2.it gets dark by 5pm...like 8pm in naija kind of dark.

3.once in a while,in a bus,you will see a white granny staring at you like she just saw kinta kunte.. lol

4.It is absolutely possible to live a lonely life, with no friends like a psycho.. grin

5.you will probably meet not more than 5 blacks in your first week.

6.Chinese generally dont associate much with other races,so dont feel bad,for you are not alone.

7.you will probably need some time to get back your normal sleep cycle, sleeping during the day and late night wakefulness will eventually balance out.

8.nkechi back at home probably thinks so much more of you now,but then, you are still the same person.

9.most bills are paid bi-weekly,eg rent, gym bills etc

10.cheap things like ordinary keyholders cost about $13 and a something like a printer+scanner=$35....imagine

11.you might actually not wanna go back home... grin grin

still luving it here..
