Bros,sorry if I have offended you but I hate selfish people who only care about their little town even if it doesn't have any economic importance to Anambra. Ngige and Mbadinuju did the same thing. While Ngige tarred all the little tiny worthless roads in his little and useless town of Alor at the expense of Nnewi,Otuocha,Onicha and Ekwulobia Mbadinuju move a branch of Anambra state University to his stupid Uli village. These ffools are not fit to lead us,reason why Obi will always be a hero in Omanbala.

Bob Manuel rallies stars for Naija New Dawn

Anambra State is fast becoming the entertain­ment hub of the South East as more than 50 celebrities recently stormed the state for the one-in-town Naija New Dawn show and Made in Anambra concert.

Naija New Dawn show was organised by ace actor and now Se­nior Special Assistant to Anambra State Governor on Creative Media (Movie/Entertainment Industry), Bob Manuel-Udokwu in collabora­tion with Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Awka.

The show was aimed at rais­ing new stars and creating jobs for the homegrown talents in the entertainment industry, as over N1 million was mapped out for young artists who performed well in the music, acting, modeling, dance and comedy competitions.

Many Nollywood celebrities including Brown Igboegwu, Uche Ndigwe, Emeka Amakaeze, Obi Emelife, and Anyaeji among oth­ers came out to enjoy themselves with Udokwu.

Other artists like Slow Dog, MC Parrot Mouth, Dialet, Jay Black, Zoro Swaga, Hommie Jay, Bosa­lin, Chika Alex, Steels, MC I Go Yan and many others were handy at the show to thrill the audience.

Hundreds of youths had earlier turned out to participate in the auditioning, which was presided over by Uche Ndigwe, actor Ezike Divine, model Francis Ekpone, Journalist Adaeze Aduaka, model and TV Presenter, Rose Chinenye, Classic Lady in Anambra 2015 Pageant, and Chiedu Uche Okoye, civil servant and poet among oth­ers. Those shortlisted for the audi­tion eventually performed on stage on May 30, 2015 at Marble Arc Hotel, Awka, Anambra state.

Chinaza Michael won the first prize in modeling while Iwuchuk­wu Mariam was declared the win­ner in film acting. The delightful and splendid performance of “fresh boy” earned him the first prize in music. And the Jurasik musical group came first in the musical group category.

Addressing the audience, Udokwu said Gover­nor Willie Obiano approved the show in order to raise stars from Anambra State and create jobs.

I am not a Peter Obi fan and searching my previous posts will prove it. However, I will always beg to differ when i hear the word "Fail" used to describe Peter Obi's era.
No matter how much that lie is told, it will continue to be what it is. A LIE.
I don't know if siting the hotel in Agulu was a sound decision, i also don't know if having the Park and Habour roads as the only dual carriage roads he did was a smart idea so that he would build more kilometers of road elsewhere. What i know is that Peter Obi did not fail in Anambra.

Thankfully, i am old enough to recall what used to be known as Anambra state and what it has become. I remember when Anambra people were the ONLY south east people flooding Delta State university Abraka begging for even toilet courses and giving millions of naira just to be admitted to any rubbish course because Anambra was the ONLY SE state without a university.I know when Anambra civil servants were squatting in too many dilapidated private buildings in Awka because there was nothing like a workers secretariat in Anambra. I also know when the BEST public hospital in Anambra was the Onitsha general hospital and no state hospital was accredited.I know when in the whole city of Onitsha, ONLY Holy Ghost Hospital (Waterside) could perform safe c-sections and you are sure the woman won't die in the process or shortly after.I know when all public schools in Anambra were a disgrace to what primary or secondary schools were in neighboring Imo state. I know when Anambra people never dreamt about agriculture development because they expected everything they ate to be grown and fed to them by northerners.I know when driving on any state road in Anambra was a monumental bad idea because not only will your car breakdown, the kidnappers were ubiquitous and would grab you immediately to extract ransom from your family.

A lot still needs to be done and i know Peter Obi probably didn't have great dreams for what was possible in Anambra as much as Obiano has already demonstrated. But it will be the greatest deliberate misrepresentation of facts we all witnessed over the years to say he failed.

You guys should please stop this Obi/Ngige/Obiano tussle, they all did and are doing their parts in developing this state. Ogini na eme unu? If Ngige didn't do his part Obi wouldn't have found it easy, same for Obi and Obiano, let's give them their credit.

All of them did great from Ngige to Obi and now Obiano who is taking Anambra to a whole new greater level.
