there is a joke we share in the romance section.it goes like " if you want to propose to a lady and get a positive answer.take her into a canoe and paddle to.. the middle of the ocean(just the two of you),then pop the question......will you marry me.
guess the answer!

Lol, interesting. grin

it is Bondage,Domination,sadonism,masochism
it is an abusive form of relationship!
Don't mind freecocoa, she forgot that Grey suffered this same dominant/submissive abuse from his mother's friend.

You are funny o, your analogy doesn't even make any sense despite my going with it, which sane man will even propose to a girl hoping to kill her if she says no to even start with?

Anastacia knew what was involved, there was no deceit, like grey was the only wealthy man to ever ask her out? Do you know how many passes a beautiful woman gets everyday?

"She went with Grey because the attraction was mutual"(remember simple deceit).

and she even healed his tortured soul in the end.

Domination in the bedroom is not abuse, don't get it twisted.
it is Bondage,Domination,sadonism,masochism
it is an abusive form of relationship!

It is so not when it is between two consenting adults, who are you to determine what people like in bed?

Grey was a minor, so you can say he was abused, only because he was not of the age of consent.

ehn! what part of his definition of pain on his slave "sane"
Re: Women And "50 Shades Of Grey" Men by freecocoa(f): 10:32pm On Jun 14, 2015
tintingz:
The nature of the contract given to her is abusive.

She accepted the deal because the guy is good looking, rich... the opposite of that is a no for her.

And apart from that she want adventure(most ladies want an adventurous relationship), she wants to know the psychology behind the dominant/submissive thing, remember she asked how will he punish her if she disobey him and so on...
I don't know why this is hard for you to understand, how did you come to the conclusion that she would have said no, was he not good looking?

The fact that you call it an adventure, something a person is willing to try, proves it's not abuse.

someone derives satisfaction by inflicting pain on another person like a man with his slave is now considered romantic!

It is role playing my friend, his submissive is to let him know when he's hurting her, he didn't do whatever she wasn't comfortable with, abeg I don tire.

He's not very sane, he has a psychological problem, mental disorder.

Ever heard of sweet pain? There is a bearable amount of pain for everyone, he didn't go beyond her limit, she enjoyed it too, it goes both ways.

And why was he demonstrating same torture to other women just to feel...? undecided

I answered based on his preference in the bedroom, my bad.

Grey was a tortured soul alright, given that he was controlling and also a stalker, but the argument here is that, BD$M is not abuse.

He grew to love that type of sex, that's just what happened, it's just natural that when you perform a particular activity often, you may get to love it.

Being exposed to sex before he was ready and by someone older, definitely affected him, but that doesn't prove that BD$M is abuse, Grey is only but one man out of the millions of people into such kinky sex.

You do know that women also dominate, right?

they are getting the pain part! the sweet of pain is called "illusion".
grey enjoyed inflicting the pain, she was seduced to enjoy the pain. nothing sweet.

What if the bolded is opposite and Grey is poor will she say yes?

The fact that you call it an adventure, something a person is willing to try, proves it's not abuse.
Proves is abuse because Anna can't take the torture, pain anymore she has to leave.

This is the kind of thing that happen in many marriages, endure abuse and divorce later.

If she enjoys the pain as you said, then it is not abuse, abuse is not to be enjoyed my friend.

I asked you a question, how did you arrive at the conclusion that she would have said no, if Grey was not easy on the eyes and rich?

She was warming up to it, it was all new to her, she eventually got comfortable.

Seems you only know about the first part of the book.

Seduction happens in every aspect of romantic relationships, why are you trying to restrict it to this?

It is just like how people in your average relationship, seduce each other, why is that not considered abuse too?

Are you saying Grey doesn't know what he's doing is torture and abusive? or why was he giving Anna papers to sign and all that.

Na wa for you my guy. Grey knew that it was not your regular kind of sex, therefore he needed consent, it is not regarded as abusive torture as you claim, by the persons involved.

I meant as regards the level of pain she could take.

She didn't need to double date, they were exclusive.
