First Bank is the worst bank I know in Nigeria. They have extremely poor customer care officers everywhere I've tried carrying out transactions with them. Their worst branch has to be their 23 road, Festac town, Lagos branch.
GTB is better.

Their branch that I use is quite ok. The cashiers are courteous and smart. Only that they always have long queues. Ecobank is the worst as far as am concerned. Terribly long queues,poor network,disenchanted employees,poor ATM services.

I av used most of ds banks pple talk abt,n I can say deir problem 1 by 1 eco bank n uba r Bros n sister dey reduct ur money like nytin,zenith dey deduct deir normal charges even if u av minus dey help u indicate...dey charge 4 transfer ATM n oda...gtb dey delay tins because dey av a lot customers..n oda n odas ...I feel d best of dem all is Access bank..dey work wit speed no delay ...no transfer delay n if u av 1million in ur acct dey don't charge 4 nytin nt even ATM maintenance or NY charges u find ur moni dere..nt even 1 kobo ....unless oda banks u find 200 or 500 away 4rm ur acct 4 no reason...

Zenith bank .. 8/10

Diamond bank is very efficient and their customer service is just wonderful same with zenith bank..
I only run a first bank acc because its a salary account and I have no choice. Too many impatient and rude staff in their customer service dept

I'm banking with GTbank, Ecobank and Stanbic-IBTC Bank. I used to comend the services of that Stanbic IBTC bank but recently dem dey fall my hand, although I might still forgive dem and overlook what happended!

Same with me. Stanbicibtc services seem to be degenerating, common to hook me to d internet banking has taken months. I keep filling that useless form yet nothing is done. They need to overhaul their IT section....either d complaints don't get to them or d IT staff are purely incompetent. But d banking hall services remain top notch.
GTB gives me excellent customer care. Complaints are attended to pronto!

All the banks dey fall hand jare.

Union Bank, EcoBank and GTB. I'm surprised at the kind of top notch services I receive from Union Bank, their mobile banking application is among the best in the industry, their internet banking platform is very user friendly and their naira denominated Master card is accepted all over the world. Union Bank rocks!

EcoBank is crap,apart from their ATM everything about that bank is annoying. GTB services has really nose-dived. GTB is over hyped.

ecobank and former oceanic are the worst over here my experience with barclays is nothing to write home about. Terrible services. BUt ill give a big thumb up to standard chartered . not because they r customer friendly but because they have many banking options and r extremely reliable

Stanbic ibtc bank - good customer service, attend to customer timely, but their only probles is that they have few branches, at times long queue. Access bank have plenty branches, no long queue.

Watchout for the service rate

GTBank holds two of my biggest accounts and Zenith Bank holds my prepaid Visa account. To me, they are the best banks in Nigeria today.

Preference is personal..No bank can be everyone's best.All banks have their issues at certain points and have their strength in certain areas...
- How technologically innovative is your bank?
- Does my bank have products that suits me/my lifestyle and my business?
- How long does it take my bank to respond to my complains or requests?
- How about the long queues? How long do i have to stay to get attended to?
- How am i treated/approached/appreciated by my bank?
- Some banks have as much as 4 branches on one street,while some just 1 or 2 in an entire area.which do you think will be financially stable? i think the fewer the better.

To me, when you talk about customer services experience, you talk about FCMB, reliable and they issue instant ATM. And they atm service is the best among others.

GTB...in my opinion is a super great bank.

I have accounts with firstbank and Diamond bank. . Firstbank is just as the OP said but I prefer Diamond bank because I am yet to see a queue at the bank and their services are fast and superb. I don't know about any flaws yet.
