Eediots should understand that this plan has been explained severally by the economists in the ApC strategy and research committee.

It is what is well known as a bail out plan.

Even in the USA, UK, bla bla bla, they all employ it.

There are several categories of bail out..but they all serve same purpose.

1. Bail out through the Banks
2. Bail out through the companies, or
3. Bail out through the masses.

Overall effect is to send some cash into the economy market and allow for more cash flow.

APC has decided tp employ the bail out option yhrough the masses, at the end...same effect, they ll spend it in the econony market....the money will flow from bottom to top...so from yhe poor man to the conpaby that sells goods and finally to the banks. That is a longer chain of bail out with likelihood of greater benefits to many aspecta of the society such as inflation, crime rate, employment and social security.

where will the money come from? Majority of nigerians don't realize that oil prices have fallen,we have dwindling oil revenues,even the fg had to borrow to pay federal workers, we have lost our largest and biggest oil buyers , the problems facing buhari now is where will the money for his programs come from

Lets assume that 60 million Nigerians are employed. According to last census count, Nigeria's population stood @ 160 million people. Now 5k/m x 100 million people (unemployed) is whole lotta money pegged @ 0.5 trillion Naira.

The question is, where will the money come from? Besides, good number of people residing in this country arent Nigerians and we can't rely 100% on the national database for accurate results. In essence, it means we are gonna be paying jobless foreigners 5k along side Nigerians, right?

If the govt shud pay 5k to the unemployed which amounts to a whooping 0.5 trillion naira, how about those already in govt payroll (employed) who are yet to receive their legitimate salaries considering the fact that our economic fortune is already down, where will the govt make more money to carry out this whole plan?

Infact, its obvious the APC's Economic management team told Nigerians a huge lie on this matter cos, u can't spend such amount of money on monthly basis and carry out capital projects around the country that wil be of benefit to the masses. It's pretty much unrealistic.
