The only thing I noticed is the fact that the minister from Tanzania combines 4 portfolios..... Information, culture, youth, sports. That would have been at least 3 ministers if it were Nigeria |

Kenya forcefully shut down analogue transmission on Feb 14 after several postponements, people were raking as it was total blackout before those without high definition television sets with grudges went to to buy the set top boxes for between N6k and N8k and connected it to their regular TV sets. lt makes sense. |

Nonsense! We shaa defeated the highly dreaded ebola virus to the envy of other African countries and others. I've never heard that any citizen would die for not meeting the switch anyway. Who really cares to subscribe for the crappy Startimes NOVA bouquet (600 naira) when there is no light to watch it? Not to talk of the most expensive GOTV bouquet 1 Like |

Can someone tell me how this country called Nigeria can move forward or be at par or same pace with developing countries when the youths and younger generation are not given opportunities and to head such bodies. The motivations of we younger generation now is much far in between when compared to this our old rulers that refused to retire, that decided to die on the seat of power and to head hitec bodies while they are (analogically) inclined. They can't move with the pace of development with respect to technology. 1 Like |

from little understanding..Anolog broadcast is that signal that the quality of reception is determined by the distance of the transmitter to your analog tv at home ..the farther u are from the tv station the poorer ur reception except u boost with an antenae even at that there is still a limit to your reception eg if you are in Lagos is very difficult to receive sokoto state TV stations and all these consumes broadband space...while the digital broadcast packages all the TV stations for you to views mostly on digital TV set..if get d reception the quality will sure be a 100% high definition good picture and sound..if u wish to view in our normal analog TV set you need a special box call stb that will convert the signal from digital back to analog from your viewing Pleasure. 1 Like |
