men and their double standard.
they want an independent lady yet, they don't want an independent lady.
they keep shouting they want independent lady but don't want to pay the price of keeping one... they seem to have forgotten that must independent ladies are career ladies.

you can't eat your cake and have it.

I agree with her 100%

What's my business?

Once you come across people like this you just shaggy them and dump their ass - They will definitely say it doesn't matter but wait till they hit 39 and see them running after younger guys they can emasculate with their overbearing attitude and the little change in their bank account.

Fake wannabe biitches.

Asin. this young men of nowadays especially.
they want "housewife" like their mums.
But complain women too like money when she wants you to foot bills.

You men must choose one. Pay for everything or share the chores and bills.

Whaever the case.

if you "shaggry" her and dump her ( whatever that means)
someone will marry her.

Men who are willing to support, assist and elevate their women are the winners!
Happy homes are not built on pride

Of course the pride started with you guys trying to emasculate men and turn them to puccies.

Whatever you guys are buying from the West isn't working and it would further plunge the society into chaos.

Of course we are well aware that we've go some iidiot that call themselves men.One iidiot actually traced his girlfriend to my hotel room . Wtf is wrong with this guy - I've seen a guy that caught his girlfriend pants down and he was the one crying asking the psycho why. grin he's a man too. grin
We are all men but our mental toughness is totally different .So, please kindly look for the puccies.

don't mind them.
they keep complaining about ladies yet the bulk of fault lies with them.

They want a superlady...I once saw a picture here on NL where a lady was carrying their kids and backing the man at the same time. that is exactly what Nigerian men want.

They want the women in their lives to share the bill with them and also single handedly take care of the home.

Help meet and not slaves

Truckie, it started with you men trying to change the normal African way. it started with you men chanting independent ladies all the way. (this I must say you guys copied from the west) But you don't want to be treated the way western ladies treat their men.

you want to eat your cake and have it.

Does he not have other things to do?

But you'll expect your wife to share in the financial responsibility in the house, talk about double standard.

Your being independent isn't about sharing equal financial responsibilities at home but to ensure that in the case of any unforseen circumstances and your hubby is no longer around ,you can conveniently take the heat .

I have seen big boys die and their kids begin to catch hell immediately because even while he was rich and building his businesses he had not really achieved financial stability .

You have no idea what will transpire if the breadwinner in the house exits too early either by natural cause or accident .I have seen good ladies turned widow almost playing the prostitute just to fend for her kids.

Reasonable men with enough substance put a lot of money in the hands of their wives just in case something goes wrong and his family starts kicking up dust.

Of course ,real women don't like them puccies.

I have this friend of mine that wants out of a relationship that was leading to marriage and when her case got to my corner I called her aside and demanded why she is wanting out and she simply replied me that his boyfriend isn't in charge at all.And she detest that kind of man.

Women look up to you for leadership and show courage and strength even when all is completely lost as a man in a relationship and here you have ya self trying to be dangerously nice all in the name of love.

Some guys can't even live their life once their girlfriend shows up ,how many years will you pretend to be who you're not ?

there is a lil digression already.
When a Nig guy tells you he wants an independent lady, I can wager my meatless dinner he's referring to a lady he wouldn't spend a dine on, he's referring to a lady who would also bring her own half of the daily bread to the table, cook his meal, wash his clothes and also satisfy his libido.

Not up to 10% of them share your idea of an Independent lady

Any Nig guy who does that is a PUCCY

Their only responsibility at home is to eat, read newspaper, watch TV, some of them even Nag as to why is the window left opened instead of closing it...why is there no water in the fridge as if lizard would grow beards if they do the needful. I shouldn't forget sleep and complain about how unromantic their wives have become.

Women are heading companies now and making changes in the world
sustainable development cannot be achieved if all hands are not on deck.
be it male or female.
That is why africa is still so behind in terms of development.
Half of the game changers at cooking for one man somewhere
who is selfish enough to turn her into a stay at home,

The other half have been labelled all sort of names for standing up for themselves.

How would you define a ‘puccy'. I can be controlling and at the same time . If you had asked me years ago whether I would go for a soft man, my answer would have been a definite ‘no' however now that I am older I have met men who are soft, men who shy away from decision making yet they are very driven, hardworking and successful and sincerely I unconsciously respect such men and barely argue with them.

We have to respect the fact that not every man or woman out there fits into the societal definition of a man and a woman. It doesn't make them less human, nothing/no one is perfect.

PS- I hate the term ‘puccies' angry

such is the society we find ourselves in

Men should try to help out at home.
it's no big deal.

I really don't blame them, though.

If I decide not to share in the chores what will happen?

We men foot 95% of the bills anyway undecided

on a serious note, ladies have being taking responsibilities financially due to the economic. if you look now most company are now taking women more than men due to some reason best know to them.

All these silly rants up and down from single ladies.

Wait until you get married and then you and your beloved husband will talk about all these issues.

If he decides not to join you in house chores I wonder if you'll go straight for the divorce papers.

Talking as if everything is all rosy undecided

it still does not amount to the fact that we still have more men at a very wide margin who are bread winners compared to the female folks. And it will remain so in a very very long period of time.
