If people could start the month of July with a complain about unpaid June salary, (I mean as at 8am on July 1st, 2015 people were already complaining that June salary has not been paid shocked ) then I am not surprise that people cannot wait for the first 100 days to start making all sort of complaints about the President
And Salaries should not have being paid before the end of the month? They should still be expecting June Salary in July? Now i see how unintelligient you APC folks are..SMH

You're obviously an aasshole!

How does CCB saying it lacks the power to make assets public translate to Buhari not making same public?

Me replying you is a honour to you. Do not expect further replies.

Buhari didn't give time frame as to when he will make public declaratiin of his assets. He said and I quote him, "if voted into office as the president of Nigeria, I will make public declaration of my assets immediately after assumption of office. I don't have mastery of english language because my papa is not from england but from liitle understanding of what the word "immediate" stands for, buhari has failed on that promise. That's an integrity flaw.
I remember hearing "within 100 days" myself so I will stick with that. Besides, if we want to go with the word "immediately," PMB and his VP declared their assets to the CCB within 3 days of assumption of office. We have been told by the presidency that after CCB verification, the declaration will be made public. Going by that, besides the CCB verification delays, he still made good his promise of "immediate" asset declaration.

And you feel the word silly is apt for you to use here? Do know what it means to be silly? See below:
1. You started by quoting the constitution which says assets must be declared to CCBand that PMB and PYO have done. Do you see the silliness in you?
2. That PMB trying to impress during campaigns said he will declare his assets publicly. Did he say he will come to the open market to do so? He said he will declare his assets publicly in his first 100 days in office. What day are we now? Do you see another silliness here?
Please, I will have to let go because you need to et your silly head fixed. Derelictous human like you.
That's why I was a bit hesitant with the 'silly' word because I'm sure you will misunderstand it and I have been proven right. I didn't mean to insult you as it's not my habit. Calling me a derelict doesn't actually portray you as a gentleman which you have tried to form. Sorry if you feel offended.

Now to the koko of the matter.

Yes I quoted the constitution relevant portion of which he and his vice have complied with. My grouse is hat Buhari knows that a simple declaration before the CCB would have sufficed but to impress or more probably I suspect to present himself as a better candidate than Jonathan he added the public declaration stuff which he knows isn't legally binding.

Secondly he stated that he will make his appointees to declare their assets publicly as a precondition appointment. Has he done that? We know he has made two or three appointments but did they declare their assets publicly before he appointed them or are you saying the likes of Femi Adeshina, Garba She hu, Amina Zakari etc have no assets to declare?

Hasn't the president promised to declare his assets publicly immediately after Code of Conduct Bureau has verified same?

Are we not still "within the 100 days" he promised during his campaign?

Too many jobless journalists!
Bloody liar like ur paymaster buhari...He said he already declared his assets, he said he has 120 cows and 1 million naira.

He now refused to declare it officially wen he won the election.

I know very much about patience but people should make promises they have the capacity and will to keep and not to deceive and make instant gain. A word for Mr Buhari.
Anyway do enjoy your day too.

Sorry brother you don't get it. I personally have no issue with public declaration of assetsas it's not a constitutional requirement but we were told during the campaign that he will make the assets public immediately after swearing in. The 100 days stuff came after the swearing in abi no be so? People like me wouldn't have bothered if they had told us 100 days after from the onset. I see the 100 days stuff as a ploy to renege on the promise.
Ploy or no Ploy just wait for the 100days before u begin to conclude he won't do it...I am waiting for those 100days before I start with my criticism...how do u start criticising someone after just 31 days when he just started on a journey of 4yrs?

Buhari declaring his assets or not won't stop him from embezzlement in future. What we should be concerned about are bubu's promises ; eradicate corruption & boko haram , creation of jobs, social welfare, $1=N1...

... Bubu, moving terrorists to my state wasn't part of your manifesto o!
Re: How Buhari Ignored Transition Committee’s Recommendation To Declare assets by Nobody: 2:04pm On Jul 01, 2015
Today is day 31, we will patiently wait for the President and his VP to publicly declare their assets and liabilities within the promised 100 days. To be realistic, if this public declaration is not done within this month and early August, then it may never be done again. And this failure could deal a severe blow to the integrity and the stance of President Buhari on corruption; many hopes and expectations about the success of his administration could be dashed.

A great opportunity, here, presents itself to PMB: he can, either elect to serve and die for the masses, or pass up the opportunity and be at the service of the elite and political warlords, who are wont to lick his boots and hail him, ranka de de ! It's left to him.
Re: How Buhari Ignored Transition Committee’s Recommendation To Declare assets by jacksonite: 3:08pm On Jul 01, 2015
MKO4ever:
This is how assets declaration works:
--A form is issued to whoever wants to declare assets by the Code of Conduct Bureau
--The form is completed and returned to the bureau
--The Bureau then carries out asset verification/audit
--This is necessary to ascertain the Existence, Ownership Completeness and Accuracy of the assets as declared in the form
--The Bureau then certify the asset declaration form
--The verification is necessary because some Officers usually overstate their assets during asset declaration
--So that by the time they are leaving office, it wouldn't appear as if they acquired so much additional assets during their tenour
--This is the procedure and you know Baba does not like to violate procedures

Baba has said he will make his assets known to the public, therefore let us be patient and reasonable
His declaration to the CCB is a constitutional obligation which he has already fulfilled. Whether ratified or not is left to the CCB. But his declaration to the public is a moral duty which does need to wait for ratification from CCB. In any case if he were sincere and sure of what he declared then why wait for ratification before presenting it to the public.

While we await Buhari's public declaration of assets, the dullard is busy amassing wealth.
Don't be surprised if Buhari declares #10b assets in future, he has ample time to loot us dry.
Like ur Jonathan did abi?eranko!
Re: How Buhari Ignored Transition Committee’s Recommendation To Declare assets by Lyndylove: 6:38pm On Jul 01, 2015
I knew he wouldnt declare his assets. Nobody in Nigeria will do that bc lets face it, a Nigerian president's annual salary is about #14 million naira.

Now, how many presidents will be honest enough to take just that? Which means you're expecting that at the end of his tenure, the extra assets he acquired should not be more than #56 million naira. Even an average Nigerian will call him a fool for not looting.

Let's face it. APC knew Nigerians desperately desired change and they promised us heaven and earth knowing deep down they're not gonna fulfill half of those campaign promises. I'm not expecting them to do so either cos I kno those promises are too bogus and unrealistic

...Honestly yes we're irritated by LOSERS trying to tell us how to LEAD. Irritated by same group Of People that just some few months ago like now had nothing meaningful to say than to shout "RUBBISH till 2019"!

But at the appropriate time the drum beat of success shall be danced to by everyone inshallah. #SaiBabaBuhári
