Akande himself released a press statement that has been widely reported and he has not denied it or said he was misrepresented. However every smart political player knows it was a tissue of lies without one solid fact. Everyone also knows he is simply doing Tinubus dirty work, and they are resolved that such scandalous smearing of whole sections of the party will fail to achieve its objectives. Tinubu cannot and will not be allowed to control the party in the way he desires. He will not succeed in his plan to surround Buhari with all his acolytes or make himself such a power that he can select the next president, one that he can use at will. Nigeria is not lagos. For his own good he needs to exercise caution.

Because any clash between the North and south-west will lead to collapse of this ill-Nigerian Federation.... And that's what I want and that's what 80% of Yoruba youths want.. If you are here and thinking this Akande's rant is all about Bukola Saraki's senate presidency, you are making a big mistake. Things have moved far from that. Tinubu and his herds are suddenly awaken to a brutal reality of their second-class status in the scheme of things. It is just too late.

Why will you say such a thing as the ss and se people not expecting much from this govt. They voted their choice. That does not mean who ever wins will not carry them a long, coupled with the fact that the area feeds the nation. If u does not perform in the niger delta, there will definitely be problem.

*claps* alas! Some one sees the larger picture. That single act was the game changer in this political dispensation. An act that causes the pdp to remain relevant despite surrounded by enemies on all front, even the spokes man of the party released a statement saying PDP is rising again having such an advantage in the opposition is unheard off and surly the finger of God is at work here.

This kind of confusion in APC is really giving me a lot of concern.Am one of those that supported GMB but with what am seeing happening in APC I don't see them having anything.I foresee them fighting themselve thru out the 4 yrs they will remain in power.
