Thanks @Lexyj123. Can I get it from the state CID headquarters in my state here? You think is acceptable? As coming to lagos just for this will be a big deal.

You really dont have to travel all the way to Lagos for that.
Just go to the state force headquarters where you reside, they will process you and forward your forms to lagos.....once they are done it would be sent back to you. Might take bwt 1-2 weeks and nothing more than 10k. Hope this helps.....cheers

I concur....they are useless...they discriminate against Nigerians especially...

Did you hear the story of the ukranian Nigerian student that was detained and starved of food for a reason they could have taken responsibility for.

They are just useless..

I heard oh its sad. We love to look for the cheapest of the cheapest. Anyone coming abroad to study is definitely not from a hungry family. It's advisable to spend that extra coin on getting a good flight.
Ethiopia airline is messed up as well.

Well, in as much as I can say Egypt air isnt one of the best airlines, they are not that bad either. Travelled with them a couple of times during my undergraduate studies and I didn't have any problem with them. Each time my stop over is more than 5 hours, they lodged me in a very good hotel. Not just me, but that's what they do. If you can afford to pay more, then you can go for other airlines. Egypt air is not that bad! Exceptional cases do happen with any airline. I had one bad experience with KLM/Air France once too. Na God dey save and protect person from "story that touch o"

My dear friend don't make people feel they can work and make their schools fees from working and schooling at the same time.. Its almost impossible,if one doesn't have enough, its best to gather enough money here before going there.
And there's no such thing as schooling at ones pace o
He is a postgraduate scholar tinuola..It is very achievable..Not everyone would have their complete tuition before they can enrol in school. The school system there don't even encourage you to pay all ur tuition at a single time. And yes for postgraduate scholars you can work at ur pace. For eg for University of Waterloo, u can decide to finish ur 2yr masters in a year.So it depends on how flexible the school system is....

I would never agree or advice anyone who doesn't have their complete tuition for the duration of their studies to travel, with the hope of working to make up for it, inside assignments, course work and projects, where's the time to work, one can't even work more than 20hrs/week. He go chop and still pay bills, uni of waterloo is prolly over 15k/year. So I dnt know how he will work and schl and still finish a 2year prog in 1year.

I just think Its not fair to make pple think its easy to make money while u school, esp enough money to pay tuition.

Its not fair how? Its abit difficult doesn't mean it is impossible.Pple have talked abt how they paid their full tuition by working, so what will you say to somebody who has half of it? Nigerians are resilient. Each one according to what he believes..I won't just write him off cos he doesn't have the remaining balance. His white age-mates don't have a dime and yet they school. He asked a sincere question and I gave him a sincere answer. It is up to him to make the decision.

@Tnuola Are you saying everyone who lives and schools abroad all paid their tuition with their own cash by themselves? Tnuola stop talking shit. Everyone with his or her own ways & beliefs... If it did not work for you, it may work for someone else.

Please stop being melodramatic
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by berexio1: 8:38am On Jul 02, 2015
@Tnuola..I can only speak of my sch cos I have done extensive research..For eg, u can have 1-2 hours of lecture in a whole day..Max u can have is 4hrs..which is very rare, maybe once a week or in 2 weeks..There are some days u are free..So tell me why a PG student won't work?So if u work for another 4hrs a day and leave the remainder hours for course work and all, is it bad?

The admission can come easier....but don't be caught in no man's land when it comes to visa...
