Are you for the resolution of the crises and a stop to the bloodbath or a continuation?? If he decides to negotiate and see to the end of it, what is wrong with that

He should hv told Nigerians during his campaign that he was going to negotiate with boko boys not now It's a pity there is no Tunde Idiagbon to help him this time
some of you just comment for the sake of commenting undecided

we should be talking about how to end insurgency in Nigeria instead of criticizing. Gej put his effort to end boko haram but couldn't get the job done. and you people were the ones saying boko haram is buhari boys but you guys kept mute when the strike continues after buhari's inauguration.

we all want a stop to terrorism and any step that will guarantee a full stop to it is highly welcome

We are yet to see any effort rather than the allotment of our common wealth to neighboring countries.

relocating the military HQ to the troubled state isn't an effort ?

do you want the killings of innocent soul to continue? if you are among the ppl that lost their families and friends, will you say granting them amnesty or negotiating with em isn't a good move ?

you and your group claimed buhari was behind BH to make the govt hard for gej administration, is he also behind BH to make the govt hard for his administration too ?

"President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the immediate release of $21 million (N4.2 billion) to the Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF.

The money is to be released within the next one week to the multi-country military agency fighting the insurgent group, Boko Haram."

Buhari has committed this much from our resources, he should start the killing of the terrorist first before thinking of Amnesty for the repented.

About 1000 people have been killed since dulIardinho took over. At this rate, we'll have 12,000 killed in 1 year almost equal to what they killed in 6 years from 2009.

Interesting...

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/11/boko-haram-names-buhari-5-others-as-mediators/
Your bigotry wouldn't let you see past your nose.
Determined to explore various options that can rein in the increasingly destructive attacks on Nigerians by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, President Goodluck Jonathan has announced the offer of amnesty to members of the outlawed Islamic sect.

The offer may be patterned after the type
offered the Niger Delta Militants who renounced
violence, surrendered their arms and embraced
dialogue; after which they were put through a
de-militarisation process and non-violence. www.thisdaylive.com/articles/jonathan-offers-conditional-amnesty-to-boko-haram/179805/
So tell me, how come even your Jonathan offered Boko Haram amnesty

And as for the Boko Haram naming Buhari as negotiator angle, what the hell is wrong with that?? It is common practice for non-state actors to name people they consider trustworthy to negotiate with governments on their behalf. Tell me, did you consider Soyinka and Aniko Briggs as MILITANTS when they were named as their (militants) representatives??

Stop being silly.

I did not just come to that conclusion without a reason.

The actions of Buhari so far with the appointments in INEC and DSS says a lot. Before the election Buhari once said he has been around for long to know who to consult or appoint to help in fixing Nigeria but this two appointments prove otherwise.

Right now DSS is demoralized with the appointment of a retired, mean and greedy DG. On the other hand INEC needs someone better than Jega and I expect Buhari with all his honesty, integrity and incorruptible nature at stake to give us some better than Jega.

I'm giving you reasons for saying Buhari has lost it.

If he cannot get simple appointments right is it the complex boko haram issue he can fix? Just two days back Buhari beat his chest that he is winning the war, all of a sudden he is thinking of negotiations.

Buhari needs help....don't forget Idiagbon was the brain behind his success as Head of State even as a young man.

I am praying for PMB to succeed, his success is Nigerians success.

However, I will be quick to castigate his inhuman policies and any tactics different from his initial stands or statement except an explanation in relation to the deviation is offered.

Hahahahahahahaha, that is what u get when blind swathe of APC minions are living in the cyber space morning, afternoon and night, inundating Nairaland and impressionable Nigerians with junks in the guise of sound political analysis. Now they have resorted to negotiating with terrorists. Mad people

This is becoming ridiculous.

Only fools would be swayed by the hypocritical rationalization of the OP's fluid , unprincipled partisan logic carefully disguised as objectivity. Most of the decisions they ridiculed GEJ for are now considered as imperatives in the fight against the terrorist, yet they won't have the decency to first apologize for their earlier myopic and mischievous standpoint.
