Bro u didn't even attempt my question. Having grown up in SW i sure know those facts and that yoruba is 3/4 christians but i want to know the idea behind establishment of yoruba mosques particularly.
There were earlier questions such as why some northern muslims don't regard yorubas as practising Islam.

Politics was one end of the insurgency that had long died. Those that had tried using it for some political gains typical of what happened in the Niger-delta had long shifted grounds. What is happening there is also been observed in the entire muslem world so how is that politics except you want to say the religion is in fact a political movement.
I like how you yoruba people go about things but people in other regions seem to have a different perspective.
