@Gazzuzz please can you recommend any locally available high temperature grease that can be used on brake calipers? I fear to use a brand that would degrade rubber boots. Need to lube my caliper pins. |
Re: Remotely Follow Your Vehicle Repairs Online by oktawian(m): 5:00pm On Jul 08, 2015 |
I'm using synthetic base greese for caliper pins and it's works just fine. DO NOT use copper greese cos after some time it will block pins ! |

Ford explorer 2004 Fuel pump pressure test without installing gives a almost 5bars , didn't know the v8 used so much pressure. Well in contrast to 2bar/1.5bar that is settled With fuel tank still on the floor and fuel pump installed car is started and revs well, but rough idles, a quick spark plug change, o2 sensor replacement and injectoer service in the morning, and this baby is out of here P.s warning, never connect your fuel pressure tester directly to a fuel pump, its best connected in series with the pressure release valve.

The Nissan xterra Small leak noticed at the top of radiator, there's a crack at the top, probably caused by old age. No cause for alarm, no need to replace entire radiator, just the top will be replaced in the morning.

Ford expedition 2004 Got really stumped on the rough idling and hesitation on the 4.6liter v8 engine, and decided to leave it for a day to research some more. I totally ignored the rattling noise the engine made and felt it was engine wear until I read this article. Also I noticed oil was non existent on the dip stick when I checked and had to inform the owner. It totally explained the rattling and rough idling In 1991 Ford Motor Company introduced their first modular V-8 engine. This was for the 1991 Lincoln Town Car and the cylinder displacement was 4.6 liters. The engine is popular and is produced in a number of displacements. They also build two, three and four-valve per cylinder versions with different cylinder heads Will have to inform owner on new developments before continuing the job. |

Salute Gazzuzz, I 've been silently following your thread and I appreciate it. I have a Lexus rx330 2005, when I bought it I noticed that when I turn on the ignition the fan starts working and when i asked the dealer, he told me when the vehicle was brought in the a/c didn't work and they had to connect the wire directly into the compressor and creating a relay for it. I saw all these myself. A saw pin wire that is supposed to be attached to the fan junction hanging and when I put it in the fan stops working and a/c releases gases as if it's overfilled. I have attached pictures. Please how can I get my ac to be working just the way factory made it. Thank you.
