My brothers information is key. Whether .com, or .com, it doesn't really matter. They all have their strengths and downsides depending on what you want and your focus. Permit me to tell you this, I was going through a website last month where members commented on this similar issue. Guess what! a white lady in US said she just converted from .com to .com. Why?? She said she is more comfortable with .com (that is it). Sometimes it depends on the direction, focus and your contents (whether copy paste or original contents).
To be honest, the goal of most bloggers is to make money from their blogs, websites etc. Nowadays when getting a job is difficult, blogging is another wonderful alternative you can use to make money(honestly it may take sometime before you start getting significant income whether .com or .com)
Another thing, if you all think lindaikeji is the only famous blogger making money in Nigeria, then you need to give it second thoughts again!). There are a lot of people out there making money from blogs (.com) that they have forgotten all about CVs. I personally know a couple of them and just take example from the man who introduced me to blogging (.com) way back 2010. At that time he was already making thousands of Naira monthly from Adsense and affiliate marketing on his blog.
See gentlemen, just choose what you want to blog about then develop and focus on it (it could be jobs, entertainment, cars, fashion, academics etc.) then every other thing will follow including money of course..
