which Lord will have mercy on her? Cos the last I check xtian or Muslim god are the enemies of humans and I won't be surprised if they are the one responsible for this.

Op let ur niece practice mudra of emptiness 1hr daily. Google the hand gesture sign. The Africa way of healing is more effective more than the foreign method of treatment.

Save that life by making sure she practice it for 1hr for 3 months

Oya kill us na,becos ur murderer god is good.

Acute herpetic gingivostomatitis (a viral infection) is one of the differentials.... She needs to see an Oral Medicine specialist. Bring her to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Idi Araba if you live in Lagos or take her to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja...they also have an oral medicine specialist there. Good luck.

Slave.

Op I repeat again this is no God something. The power is within and in her finger tips. Let her use it and heal herself. Wait for God? O. Y. O.... Am talking from experience. Am no doctor but I have helped people get healing to the powers of the fingers. Am not CHARGING u and u will also save the money to patronise these doctors who might never get to the root of the problems. After 3weeks if u don't see signs know that am a liar

I have no idea what solutions you have tried or where you have seeked solutions, but I think u should try diatomeceous earth. It can kill the bacteria causing the injury from the root. vlify007@gmail.com

Such an important issue like this which affects a child's confidence and self-esteem has been allowed to fester from the age of 4 to 15?

Thunder fire poverty and illiteracy!

[quote author=mGoogle post=35755742]Please, please, Gentlemen and Ladies; please help me.

I have a niece who had a mouth problem since she 4 to 5 years old but now she is 15 years old.

The problem is this:

There is some kind of rashes that uses to swell up in her mouth and some are small and some are not and as it is, every night and day her mouth is bleeding due to those rashes on her tongue and inside her mouth.

The thing also affected her teeth and that her teeth look so dirty, she can't eat food that is contained with pepper neighter can she eat hot food nor drink hot things because it pains her.

We have do almost all sorts of medical remedies but to no avail.

I believe that her problem will come to end once I post on this internet of nairaland.com as someone directed me here to ask anything because am tired of google.

Please my brothers and sisters I really need your help on what I should do to make her mouth look fresh, smooth and clean again like every other human being.

See the photos of her mouth, tongue and teeth.

Young man....your family members delayed the innocent lady..I'm not here to tongue lash you. Bring the lady to UCH. You(Her family members) may be worn out due to protocols in UCH but I'm sure it's for saving the young lady's life. There is no time on her side looking at the pictures you uploaded.
I agree with the person who said it's oral cancer. Pls act fast. God on her side, she'll scale through and she'd be able to smile again. Best wishes to her

Herpes? May be
Oral leukoplakia is another possibility
Plenty other differentials
MCS will most likely yield mixed growth because of the numerous normal floral of the bucal mucosa and the result is not likely to be helpful.

Fungal studies and histolopathology should help

You have to go to a hospital and tell them to use a swab stick to collect the fluid coming from the blisters for culture. This will help to identify the specific organism responsible for it and determine its sensitivity. Random antibiotics may not work. Please take this girl for proper treatment. Wishing her speedy recovery.

@Lalasticlala, other opinions are needed please

Seconded

For those that said she is likely to be suffering from Herpes Simplex, kindly explain how she got infected at the age of 4 years. If the mother had the virus or the blister sores at the time of birth she could transfer the virus to her, but how did it not affect her early enough until she became 4 years because the herpes virus usually manifest within a short time.

Herpes is more hidden in women and men can easily get infected from contact with them without condom. The parents need to have been tested also long ago if it was a transmission of what is in them that is unfortunately transferred to this innocent child.

The best bet is for the girl to be taken to a General Hospital or a Teaching hospital if it's within your reach. It's just too long that this has fested or allowed to thrive.

Good luck.

It is DEFINITELY NOT an infection.

Infections don't last 10 years.

Due to the blisters, she might sometimes develop a superimposed infection.

But the primary problem that she has had for 10 years is not an infection.

It is impossible for anybody to make a diagnosis online, so you are probably better off taking her to a good hospital.

Hereditary telangiectasia however can cause recurrent AV malformations which may be the reason for the bloody blisters in her mouth.

You can google that and see if her symptoms possibly suggest that diagnosis.

And like somebody else said earlier, doing a swab, microscopy and culture is probably the worst suggestion because the mouth has so many organisms that are normally supposed to be there.

Bottom line, look for a good DOC

Some viral infections can last for that long... Remember warts

And someone above asked how she could have been infected with herpes, come on, this is Nigeria, she is a child, she was 4yrs at that time, God knows what she put in her mouth, maybe even a used condom. You don't know what your children do behind you....

But the best bet is for the OP to take the child to a teaching hospital for further evaluation....

Everybody is even screaming UCH as if its the best.... Nigerians and sentiments...

The should still be more to the clinical picture
Bacterial infection comes with a fever at the very least
Cancer would have caused her demise long ago
My bet is on an autoimmune disease...say systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)

Very likely an herpes infection. HSV 1. It ll b in her body for life but dz symptoms can be managed. No certainty of what it z until properly evaluated. Has she ever been screened for Herpes simplex virus?.

I agree with you.

This is oral HSV infection on the tongue. It is rare; have seen it in my practice. OP does it come and go? Is it painful when active?

This is not candida (oral thrush) Candida does not cause vesicular rash.
