I haven't been to the US though, but every American I have had anything to do with were very polite and good people. So, that's a good observation you made right there!. It's a real contradiction they run such a ruthless government. I have always held this opinion. And, yes the president have no real power in America, including the state governors you mentioned. America is ruled by large multinational corporations. Very bizarre!. 1 Like |

omonnakoda: Are we not truly inferior by our mental LAZINESS Look around you now and check how many of the things you use that are discovered/invented/made/improved/maintained by black people and/or technology from black people? Ordinary malaria that almost exclusively occurs on our continent, can we precisely diagnose it with our own home grown and constantly improved technology Do we have the discipline and can we make the sacrifice for the improvement of the reputation of our black race among other races? This is the question we need to address instead of blaming the past, history other people but our own mental laziness. We will remain scumbags of the earth if we continue on this path to nowhere. 11 Likes 5 Shares |

anonimi: What makes me laugh is that aside from having a detailed cultured element, African Americans are the same as many Nigerians or other Africans. Who knows...maybe in some way their ancestors found a way to connect with them because they don't care about other AA as a whole. 100+ years is only a small drop in history so I jokingly say to myself that my fellow AA's behavior may be the Igbo in them. Guys like Mayweather can barely read but he'll make more money than we'll ever see, so why would he donate money to a school when he's doing well at being a athlete, not a scholar? Same thing for our drug dealers, they'll drive past their neighborhood's broke school with flashy cars full of money and won't donate a dime. Theyre fully set on making money and that's it... They don't care to see how racism is playing them, all they see is the money just like the women these days. 10 Likes 1 Share |

OP rasicm isnt exaggerated. Go to the southern states and you would see. Each state is autonomous... Every state has its rules, tax percentages etc. They check IDs cos underaged people are not allowed in the clubs...thats the law. Even if you go to buy alcohol or cigarettes at Walmart and co, you have to show your ID card to show you are not underaged. Most hotels offer bread and breakfast. You cannot compare the cost of a room there with the same quality of room in Nigeria. With what you are charged in Nigeria they should even offer you lunch and dinner free. Iv been around black americans and im sorry to say they don't help themselves. That black American mentality is giving them lots of problems. Why do Nigerians who emmigrate there do well? People are saying we are enjoying in Nigeria because we live in a lawless country where they openly sell pirated movies on the street. That's why our artists would beg for money to treat ailments. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

AAinEqGuinea: Thanks. So why blame the white system for (mainly) our own woes? How can we make these successful drug dealers, athletes, artistes understand the need to make their own community better by sowing into it as the whites do 7 Likes 2 Shares |

post=35785454:because of strict liability, bars and clubs must verify ID and age of patrons before you are served alcohol. US drinking age is 21; and it's strictly enforced unlike in Naija where it's 18 and nobody enforces it. 2 Likes |

OP definitely nice write up, straight to the point and very informative, though you didn't mention to the readers that they can earn like $100 a day or more or around $250 to $500 a week working full or part time on some of the lowest end jobs in the US, the ease of getting the jobs too is much higher than in Naija. Though in a more realistic sense, working in the states is "hardwork and fast work" not the "dilly dallying" kind of thing we do in Naija. Kudos, you did a good job posting this. 9 Likes |

anonimi: Were any of these empires built on stolen land and the blood and sweat of European slave labour? Between 1914 and 1945 (31 years) Europe had two World Wars with over 10 million people killed including genocide of Jews to REDRAW the borders of their countries among other reasons/consequences. Firstly, the casualties of both wars were far more than 10 million, Russia alone lost over 22 million of its own people in the second world war. And secondly those wars were essentially about who would control the worlds resources, particularly the resources in the so called third world. So essentially Germany was trying to usurp Britain's position in the world and seize control of all of its colonies and wealth in Africa. Therefore there is no comparison between empire building in Africa and empire building in Europe or North America as their objectives were not the same. Europe's wealth and power was based on the mass murder, ra.pe and pillage of other people's wealth and land whilst the various empires in Africa were confined to inter ethnic conflict and expansion within the continent. Were the Japanese SOLD as slaves by their own kiths and kins who received what they considered FAIR price for the sale? So because a handful of African chiefs participated in the slave trade this now means all ethnic groups on the entire west African coastline were complicit in the slave trade? Did you know that many Jews were complicit in the mass murder of their own people under Nazi Germany? Does that also means that all Jews collaborated with the Nazis to send their kith and kin to concentration camps to be gassed? It is only Africans who exonerate whites from their participation in one of the most heinous crimes in history, no other race does this except Africans, i find it very shameful. The slave trade was a capitalist machine set up and run by the Europeans. The wealth of the countries of western Europe and the US was built on the blood, sweat and tears of enslaved Africans but instead of people like you to acknowledge this basic fact you make excuses for them, shame on you. 5 Likes |

Unemadu: They are not the same thing, bro. I know many igbos who attend military and federal government colleges in the north, no-one treated them differently because they were Igbo. One of my good friends attended the Nigerian Military School in Zaria and never had any problems there. On the other hand i know many black people who attended white elite schools in the US and the UK that had serious problems simply because of the colour of their skin. 2 Likes |

anonimi: No you will remain a scumbag because you are so full of self loathing. How can you say that we have never invented anything in this world when it has been proven time and time again that the Greeks copied everything they learnt from Egyptians who were pure black African people? How were we existing before the white man invaded our continent and truncated our development, have you ever asked yourself this question? Why are our artefacts sitting in the British museum on display? 3 Likes |
