No. I didn't track it until after two weeks of submission. But on the 19th of June after I had done my biometric data capture, I received two emails from vfs global:
1. That my application has been processed in their office ;
2. (an auto email) that my application has been forwarded to[b] Canada Visa Office in Lagos.[/b]

Thanks to Justwise, your candid advice email pushed me to realise that I had to push forward no matter how it looked or sounded and not follow the norm cos my situation was not the normal scenerio.

Thanks to Team12, your post on your documents to submit, gave me a template to perfect mine, allowed me gain more insight to help friends with their applications and made me change my mind from paper route to online route which was so perfect for the situation surrounding my application. Also Thank you for the mutual encouraging conversations cos the wait was sure a test for us all.

Congratulations dear!!! Just call the hospital and ask them to send your result to cic. Ensure you give them your UMI number. This should be done within 30 minutes.
You can also ask them for a proof (its like the emedical form but with a section that states the submission date) and send to accra immigration.

Thanks to everyone in the house, esp Team 12, cos i have to follow ur format when submit my form. 1st application 2013-refused. 2nd application 26 march 2015, refusal mail rcved 13th may 2015. refired 19th June, 2015 and medical mail13th July (processing time 24 days). I have done my upfront medical already. i ve been sent a medical form, and i have already done that at the island, so how do i confirm if they have sent the result to cic Accra? pls advise. Doubt there is a direct flight to Newfoundland (not absolutely sure though). Your best bet would be to get a flight to Toronto (Royal Maroc:extremely cheap; av my reservations about this though, Ethiopian, Egypt Air, Turkish Airline amongst others are quite affordable to toronto), after which u would join a connecting local flight (look up West Jet or Air Canada) to St. John's.

Make sure he sends original and certified copies of his bank statements (assuming you are applying via paper).
Also, I would strongly suggest he notarize the sponsorship letter he sends you.

To increase my chances on admission am applying to a number of a schools.please am i to pay $100 each for all the schools or is there anyway i could beat down the application fee for all the university.yr advice will be appreciated.

If applying to Colleges, you need not apply to many but just 1 cos you can get admission within a week of applying and admission is like 90% sure except for the likes of dem NAIT/SAIT. Applying to Universities is quite competitive so throwing in a good application coupled with good grades 2.1 and above can get you admission but nothing is guaranteed, so applying to 1 or more might be advised in this case. The ball is in your court. Good luck .

I'm not sure there's a way around this. You would have to pay each institution their required application fees.
