There is an ISSUE. Pls, I need to understand what happened.
A friend called me yesterday to tell me he received a medical mail which he printed out today with the intention of going for his medical after the hols. Now, I just received a call from him saying he got another mail few mins ago, that he has been delayed. He's very confused.
Has anyone heard of such case?
What do you guys advise he should do now?
NOTE: His biometrics was in May.

Where's everyone? Pls, let's put heads together for my friend and reason it out.

He said the UCI numbers are same.
Also, that there were 7reasons for the denial (personal assets, travel history, has not satisfied them that he will leave..., current employment status, etc)

@ funmi...have u paid any tuition?...and was dere still money in ur sponsors acct( frm d period u did meds to date) ...up to the amt u claimed available...based on the info i got from a guy...after dat med e said e feels dey den tried running a check on the acct..but e has paid his full tuition and money rem was still partially ok..after 2 weeks of med dey approved his.#thoughts#

I dnt even know what is happening now
I got med mail on the 6th of july
Did my med on the 7th
Med submitted on the 9th
Today is 16th........and I have nt heard any tin from the embassy

I guess your sponsor withdrew a huge some of money from his account after the medical call,
thereby, giving them the impression that the cash is not available for your studies.

I don't think that is the case. If they wanted to know how much money you had after medical request, they would request you submit a new account statement. Your bank would not disclose your account details to a third party without your consent. Personally, by the time I got the request for medicals my sponsor's account had been thoroughly depleted that if people were denied for that reason I would probably have been first in line.

I feel like time should not be spent speculating and guessing what the problem could be. Those affected should contact CIC immediately to get some clarification. Hopefully it was a mistake. But if not, they would get a better sense of where the problem may have come from.

HMM so that's the problem .because the sponsor got approved for visiting to Canada under one week,with same asset and bank statement .NA WAOO

i thought CIC and bank statement verification has been well documented on the forum. I think @ richcasey still has a link to the delibrations. I still think that present closing balance of a bank account can only be revealed to an account owner or a co-signatory of an account or joint account.

Just cool, do you pay all your school fees, and ask your sponsor about the SOA.... Something as went wrong.... God still has the final say....
