Our policemen is at it again o.

I listened to Independent Radio, Benin 6pm news and was shocked/surprised about one of the News cast. I could not wait till 7:30pm to watch the Television version of the news so I quickly logged on to their website to view the video. You guys need to see what they did to a human being for drawing tatooes on his body.

There was chaos at Central Road by Gapiona Junction in Benin City, following the resistance of police arrest by a young man, Jerry Guobadia for allegedly drawing tattoos on his body.

Wellington Akodeja reports that the victim was allegedly tear gased and manhandled by the police.

Before we start judging d Police let consider d following facts

1) What type of tattoo did he draw.
2) There are some Cult groups That have a distinctive type of tatoo may be bird axe

they may have wanted to arrest on d suspension on his involvement in cult or following suspicious behaviour or tip off

Under the Nigerian law resisting arrest is another criminal offence.

However this is a Shameful act by the police
Deer are others way to go about it..he has a right to have a tattoo. SSQ or interrogation could have been best used.Bad image for d police force

This should be investigated and the policemen involved should be brought to book

Different folks with different lifestyle! It's only in uncivillized country like Nigeria that the police would beat a citizen because of mere tattoo on his body!!! Na police get the man skin? Abi who draw tattoo for body must be criminal?

Well I'm not surprised. The only training they get at the Police College is to arrest guys with earring and tattoos because they are all criminals. Fools! The real thieves and criminals are very coded wearing shirt and pant trouser so that nobody will suspect them.

There was a time when Gov. Aregbesola of Osun state ordered Policemen to arrest anyone with earrings and dreadlocks. That's what we get for voting bushmen and thieves into office. The crimes they themselves commit cannot be spoken of.

I don't deal with Nigerian Police men based on their intelligence, I know 90% of them are not exposed.... so once again, I'm not surprised.
