If you need people to give you reason to or not to marry, then you are actually making the mistake of allowing society/the public, to decide or dictate your choices.

This days marriage has become like a tradition. Everyone wants to marry because their parents married and older members of their family and a lot of their friends married and are marrying. So marriage has now become a must. As something that everyone has to engage in, if not, the persons life isn't complete or fulfilled.

Society has found a way to place a sort of stigma on someone who isn't married, especially ladies.
A lady who isn't married is perceived as cursed, as someone who hasn't achieved anything. And all this is utterly wrong

Msbliss, if you don't want to marry, and if you see marriage as something that you wouldn't gain from or enjoy, please don't let anybody force you into it.

It's your life and you are accountable for it. You are your life's own administrator and you have the choice and power to direct it in anyway you want.

Do what makes you happy and fulfilled and if being single for the rest of your life is that thing, then do it.

1. to bring up children that will be your source of joy for the rest of your life
2. To actually take up the responsibility of leadership - it develops your leadership skills
3. It gives you a companion
