Treasuredlove:U still don't get my point. What stops the guy 4rm not allowing the girl to leave with him. Some guys also tell the girls that they want her to leave with him. My pnt is both parties should take responsibility cos they r both adults n should know what they want. If they leave together, they both allowed it happen so if we r going to point accusing fingers we should point to both of them. |

Both parties should be blamed. But then, a girl who lives with her boyfriend at school is the same thing with those who lives alone but still date and ffuck male students. This is a case of kettle calling the pot black. @chibuhealth Are you telling us that you never dated a male student at school? If those girls who lives with their BFs were not sent to school to do such, were you, chibuhealth, sent to school to date or to study? You people should stop being hypocrites, abeg! I don't criticize those who lives together with their lovers as far as I won't criticize those who date at school too. |

uzolexis:I totally agree with you dear, in most cases its even the guys that invites the gf to come live with them now I'm not saying the ladies can't say no but then they are ladies There was this guy back then, we both knew he wasn't rily financially there but yet he invited his girl to come live with him and she agreed, the girl kept getting fatter while he looked pale each day cus he spent more on her than him The op sounds like a victim if you ask me because this thing goes both ways, in the end its both their lives but one thing I've noticed on this forum is that people are so quick to blame the ladies for everything even in circumstances where as a guy you should be able to stamp your authority and this co-habitation issue is one of those, i know how much energy, time and expenses went into keeping her happy when she visited during weekends back then talk more of if she lived with me....Its up to the guys on this one if you ask me |

Emaprince:Spot on here too and the funny thing is a lot of the guys abusing the ladies here will still be the ones to threaten to break up with the girls if they refuse to come stay with them under the illusion of "love" but you come on here and abuse them when they agree, its double speak and hypocrisy at its best |

Chibuhealth:Whish one consign you? Why will it pain you if a promising young girl and a boy decide to live together as room mates? Please face your life and allow others live their lives. Do you think you are better than those that married in school or you would be more successful than them in life? OP face your front. |

Joavid:Meaning, she didn't live with any man. A girl who spent her uni (public) days with a guy can still deny, given that some live in university hostels. Co-habitation is very bad. How can one live with a toddler for 1, 2, 3 years?? I don't have an empirical evidence on this but I can authoritatively tell you that women who co-habitated before marriage have had at least 1 or 2 abortions. Those who escaped abortions spent their days taking all kinds of drugs. |
| Re: Married In School, Single At Home In Nigeria Universities. by NifemiOlu(m): 2:23pm On Jul 18, 2015 |
Acidosis:There's no escaping abortions. |

Chibuhealth:i have never cohabitated because personally i love my space and i always make sure i enjoy it for as long as i can (just a personal choice not to form holier than thou because i chose not to) but i must have to say that sometimes you might need to learn to stop being so judgemental and simply mind your own business. Some relationships work out and some don't. Its not everyone will work-out simply because they didn't cohabit or they didn't have sex before marriage. A close relative of mine had 2children with her husband before he took her down the alter. They were both still in college when she got pregnant and they are happily married now (only wedded 5yrs after their first son). Try a little bit of minding your own business and you will miraculously find yourself not taking panado for someone else's headache. |

Acidosis:I did not deny that co-habitation does not happen in higher institutions o. I only said it happens on offcampus lodges and apartments not in school hostels. |

It's not overly a bad thing if mates are matured. They could also help each other academically by reading together , prepare for exams together etc. like every other parent, my dad frowned at it when he visited and saw ladies things in my room , the next thing I noticed was him cutting the content of the envelope he brought for me by half but thank God I was in my final year already. Popsy was patiently waiting for me to have spill over or let my people go grade so that he can fry my balls but Godwin. |
