U need a software to wake it. But first, switched it on from d back of d decoder an also press d power button almost simultaneously an see wat it displays on screen. If nothin displays, then do decoder to decoder firmware transfer.

..there can be side-lobe when tracking 5east on prime focus dish... position of 7east not same on prime focus dish compared to small antennas 90cm..I suggest track Amos 17east..when standing @ the back of the antenna.then start moving slowly up and down to the right from 17east...use lnb skewed between 4 and 3am..your best choice is 12728vertical30000 there can be side lobe on 7east..in case use the angle with strongest signal quality enjoy..NB 7east is more difficult on prime focus compared to offset..

@odilibe, you are right, 7e is very trickish, i tried all i could to track 7e with ses5 on 60cm dish, all proved abortive, two sats that are so close to each other which is suppose to be easy to track together, but when am tracking 7e on 60cm dish, it doesn't take me up to 5mins to hit green, since i want to attach it to ses5 no result yet, but when i tried to attach 7e with amos 5 on 60cm dish i use to get 45%, i don't know what is wrong with that sat.

terrestrial signals or radio communication doesn't interfere with Ku band frequencies because of its high frequency and high power level but C band share same frequency with Terrestrial signals...I wonder what will block 7east unless you are under a roof..

correct!!! I have tried adding 7E to amos on 1m dish and couldn't get it but i got 5e with 71%. That bird is really funny.

it is very possible.track 7e first then add anoda lnb ontop of the previous lnb which is 7e mind u the second lnb must be about say about 10cm maybe more or less.then bend d second lnb to the right making sure it focus on d center of dish.this is done by standinf at d back of ur dish.i did with 90cm dish.then i used to get 7e at 70% and amos at 75%. the second method is similar but this time.track 7e first then get a long stick and attack a lnb on it and input amos tp on ur decoder and search from ontop of d first lnb move right up and down pls be watching d signal strenght on ur tv.im sure u will get it. this is done by standing at d back of ur dish.let me know how far.happy hunting and good luck
