Infact, it is smaller than the neck of my 1.8m dish because I adjusted that neck from my 1.8m neck. I want to change the location of the pole and bring the dish very low to the ground. I am thinking of maybe selling this dish and getting a 4m fiber or pan dish. Those around Northern Nigeria should be able to receive most satellites with this size.

I am awaiting someone with a 4m pan installation in south south region to see the power of the signal by these local pan dishes.

If its for on FTA, nilesat takes the day but if using account, nothing beats hotbird in my opinion except sky UK.

@all, am love with free to air, but when am reading all the posts about 1.8, 2.4, 3.6, 4m dish or more i dont use to make any comment cos the the price of those dish is too high for me to afford, is when they talk of any channel on 60cm or 90cm that i do make comment, infact what am seeing is like free to air is turning to pay tv, imagine the price of 4m dish, i dont think i can even afford this in a year. Is so sad nothing is easy in nigeria, other foreign countries are getting these channels with smaller dish, and many of them are free, imagine our national tv is pay tv package.

Go for what suit your pocket my brother. Contentment is the key word.big dish is for fringe reception ask any Nigerian in the UK who want dstv at all cost in the UK.his dish will be as big as 4m and here you are in Nigeria with 0.60m you get all dstv channels(.afrimagic Yoruba and Hausa in uk via dstv) as example.you will need big dish to hunt down Intelsat 20 68.5e

The sat is very low on the horizon, you must make sure there is no obstruction whatsoever. Track dstv bring your dish down until it is straight, then move slight to your right standing in front of the dish, do this slowly and you will hit green. Use nollywood tp 12722H26657. Lnb scew 9 O'clock
