Am going for postgraduate thought letter of sponsorship is only needed for 18

If the money is not in your personal account, you need a letter of sponsorship from the owner of the account. This time, being your dad.
In the letter, he'll have to explicitly state that you're his child and he would be sponsoring you

Good day

I recently won a masters scholarship to study in a skul in the UK. Five yrs ago, I was denied visa wen I wanted to attend the graduation of my cousin due to insufficient ties to Nigeria and bank statement errors.
Now,while filling d form online, there wasn't enough space to write out al d reasons for denial of visa den, so I was advised to write insufficient ties to Nigeria since d new scholarship doesn't need my personal bank statement...pls I hope, it isn't withdrawal of info...
Also, I was advised earlier on not to seek for accomodation in the skul because it is expensive, so I intend seeking for accomodation outside the campus. So if asked about where I intend staying in the UK, wat do u tink I shud tel dem at d visa office...

Lastly, I rounded up my Nigerian masters programme( did project defense)...but nt yet given certificate/statement of result to back it up...so if asked that wat av I bin doing since graduation, should I tel dem I just finished my masters programme... won't dey ask for documents to back it up...pls am eager for genuine answer...thanks

Just finished my interview at ikeja.

Awaiting result now....

but I had to fill a 'get it right' form after the interview because I didn't submit any test of english requirement just waec as stated by Coventry University.

Some of the questions tho....

I didn't fill any get it right form o. All I needed to do was write that my school did not require it. I didn't even submit my waec certificate because the lady said that was not what was needed. I hope I have not been misled o.

Thanks bro

In the get it right form, u have to state why u dont need a test of english result.

Questions such as name n date of birth, when I applied to the school n when I got a response, when I got CAS, why I chose d course, UK and d school, plans for accommodation when I get to d UK e.t.c

My questions were a bit different o. They never asked for my cas, they asked me what area I planned to stay, what course I did, what course I want to study, why I want to study it, what are my plans after school, why I chose UK, why I chose my school, where I finished, when I finished and what I have been doing since then.

Are you sure about this? Because my waec result was collected and after the interview I was informed to fill the form as well.

Have you gotten your visa now?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Petitediva14(f): 5:36pm On Jul 31, 2015
Okay I have settled down, now let me give a recount of my day.

I had to take a new set of passport photographs for 1k, photocopy my data page for 20naira, print my appointment letter page for 500 naira (exploitation of the highest order!) because I didn't know I had to do that again. Then when I asked if I had paid for courier because I has earlier indicated my interest I was told no. Had to deposit money into my gtb account (I had to leave the center for almost 45mins), came back tried to pay and got my card deactivated. I was too annoyed and tired to go outside again to call gtb so I went for the documentation.

While I was waiting I started shivering because the place was too cold for me. Finished biometric and went for the interview (I have written the questions I was asked in an earlier post). I think they are asking different questions based on your application.

I had a bit of an issue with the interviewer. She kept telling me to slow down when I was speaking. When I am passionate about something I speak like an express train without brakes....lol. I had to apologize a few times.

Documents I submitted: my cas which had my bursary/scholarship and tuition deposit, my bank statement, my certificate and birth certificate (which I am not comfortable dropping), my sponsor letter and my sponsor's bank statements. I didn't drop my waec certificate and i am a bit worried. Oh well, we shall wait for 10-15 working days which must become 3-5 working days o. After almost 20k they had better make it express service o else.... angry angry angry

Hmmm...the questions stated above were from the british lady I spoke to during the interview. Who asked you those questions?

There are stages to pass through...
1. Reception - this is d documentation stage, u will be given a bag containing ur documents.

2. The individual then goes to d 1st floor to submit d required documents to any person u are assigned to.

3. Next thing, the biometrics will be captured by another individual still on the 1st floor. The bag given to u at d reception will be collected.

4. Lastly, the interview will be conducted in an enclosed box also on the 1st floor.

N.B: This happened at TLC ikeja. I dont know about other centres.

My questions were from a British lady too in ikeja. I was in interview room 2. I spent about 5 mins. A guy entered room 1 about 5 minutes before me and even after I had left about 5 mins later he was still inside. I was surprised mine was so fast.

Sorry bout all your delays and expenses. You sound like you fell into the hands of touts waiting outside. I informed them I didnt want courier or express service.... Pele.

I didnt pay a dime to anybody. I had all the documents and d correct passport photograph with me.

I also gave out the birth certificate freely even though she said it wasnt important maybe bcuz it was my statement of account.

The only time I had an issue during d interview was when I was asked for the time of applying for the course and when I got a response from d sch. I had to tell her 2 months ( april / may) , she said she will confirm from the school.

Lol...I didn't even notice any other person. Maybe cuz it was early in d morning and d traffic was low.

I didnt spend alot of time as well but I know if they aren't too satisfied they ask further questions.

Pls house, those who used Form A to pay their tuition fees, kindly assist. Is the conditional letter enough to satisfy the bank requirement or I need to get an invoice from the University?

I used form A. The bank requires your admission letter. I never got an invoice from my school. I just paid the deposit and sent the info to my school and they included it on my cas.. I hope that helps.

I seriously doubt you can get the next day as your appointment date. One of the reasons i paid 20k was because i could get an appointment date within 2 days. I paid and booked on 29th for 31st. But i heard with the free vac in v.i it could take about 2 weeks. I don't live and work in lagos so i don't have the luxury of waiting 2 weeks and i also had to apply on time so that if by God's grace i am successful i can request for study leave from my place of work within the stipulated 1 month's notice.

As for the 10-15 working days ish, i am seriously praying against it being that long. But that is what everyone was told.

Hope i was able to help.
