I don't know what to calll what's going on...

I'm having a feeling it's for our good...

(get over a certain date of quota limit, then start afresh with the issuance of TrV...)

standupguy:

Actually @michaelfinn's situation now makes sense. I went to the UOttawa site and apparently the minimum grade acceptable for a Nigeria BSc, depending on the graduate course of interest, is 2:2.

See here. Indeed surprising. I agree it is better to just email the UOttawa program coordinator of whichever graduate program one is interested in to find out if they would consider one's application or if it would automatically be declined.

Wagbayi ma nigger. You have just made my day.

not been able to download a form has been delaying you 4 two weeks..... Maybe you have to take it serious, it might be a problem with your browser, you can always try other computers, use a public cafe, borrow an android phone ..and if u still can't download it.. CALL YOUR PASTOR
;Dlol.... Or babalawo if not a Xtain.
Ensure ur device has strong internet signal to download the link.
Look out for error mssg. that might pop-up indicating y ur not able to download. It might be that u need to download an app to enable such.
Or better still run to cafe & save time.

You are welcome.

By the way, if you're going to use the word "nigger", you should spell it as "nigga". I have an extreme aversion to both words but can at least tolerate the latter. Also, in some quarters in the US and likely Canada, both words (particularly the former) are considered to be extremely offensive (by black people as well, especially the well educated). Just saying grin

Please, what's the content of the SMS/email? The same SMS/emails or different?

They were the same SMS's and Emails. My phone kept vibrating for an hour and half. I could share my screenshots. I was overwhelmed.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by thesoj: 4:37pm On Aug 05, 2015
The guy stated that someone contacted him because the PGD program he applied to was full. Even though the school has the policy in the email you just shared, this doesn't mean that what michaelfinn stated couldnt be true.

Typically most programs don't promise you admission before you apply. The best you are likely to get, if you initiate interaction with the program, is that they will evaluate your application and not automatically decline you. The objective of your inquiry is to see if your 2:2 CGPA will not be an automatic reason for refusal. But they generally can't promise anything beyond that, unless you already applied and they like what you submitted.

@MichaelFinn, the information you provided is immensely helpful to current and future readers of this thread.

@HayqinsbFX, if you read the email sent to MichalFinn, the admissions coordinator did not promise him admission to the program. They only suggested he apply which he did. If you are curious, I would suggest you put your skin in the game by applying.
