Barcanista, you and reverend kukah should go and search your conscience if you have one. Reverend kukah's statements had undertones (add to abdusalami's) that suggested that buhari was going out of bound contrary to the peace commitee's agreement that never took into cognisance the true wishes of the people. Kukah's statements are indirectly painting PMB as a no respecter of the civil right of a nigerian. As far as the matter is concerned, neither the reverend's utterances nor PMB's stance so far has trampled on the right of anyone, but what disturbs most is the reverend's decision to sort of play the role of a spokesperson to GEJ and his past govt. Reverend kukah had decided to play the role of spokesperson in the post GEJ's govt. GEJ himself should come out and deny any allegation of corruption during hid tenure as the president. |

We know that all of this talk is just a distraction from APC. Nothing is wrong with investigating the past administration. What is the problem is that they are using it to keep gulliable minds busy, while nothing is being accomplished in the Ministries or for the country. They continue to use GEJ accomplishments like Power to show they are working but even when you PROBE you will out that they have done nothing to add only continuation of what was already put in place. What they will tell us in four years when no progress has been shown is that if they didn't have to probe they would have been able to progress. All I know is that September is 15 days away and I hope Nigerians will demand for the Ministers to be appointed and put to work. Buhari can not put all his fingers in his mouth at one time this administration needs to stop the traveling about and get to work. Continue the investigations and follow due process without noise. When they bring them to court televise it for all to see. The Judicial branch can handle it the administration branch should be doing what they are in office to do which is move this o Country forward, end of story. |

Fess:you are not a sincere Nigerian. How do you expect Buhari to start probing from 1986 to date. This man is brave enough to want to probe a government that has bastardised governance in Nigeria. If you have ever gone out this country during the reign of Jonathan you wouldn't have surported what the peace commitee have said. Though I voted for Jonathan during the 2011 elections but that my vote was a waist because there was nothing to show for it. I later realised that I have voted for a braveless president. A president who started looking forward to 2015 election in 2011. Who believe stealing is no corruption. Ha! If because he did not want his government investigated or probed that was why he allowed the election to go peacefully, then he is in for the surprise of his life. Anyway most Nigerians are in support of Buhari. He should continue with his Governance, we love him. Nigeria will soon be a better place to live in. |

To say the fact this write up of your lack sense...it seems that you are not getting your facts well or you are still suffering from the defeat you guys suffer during last election. 1. Buhari government has not yet probe anybody yet, all this probe you are hearing are dated back as far as 2012. 2. Investigation is on going for those people Buhari will probe for looting of our wealth. 3. All the echoes you are hearing was that Buhari is allowing all institution to be strong and independent. So please get your fact well BARCANISTA, is not that i am an antagonist to your post but always put round peg inside round hole. |

dictbennie:Our politicians lack vision, almost all of them lack ideas. I will be the most foolish man on earth to think my life can be better by these politicians. They are so corrupt that, there corrupt activities have stalled progress in all spheres of our nationhood. "No permanent friend, no permanent enemy, only permanent interest. Where can such ideology drive a nation to? |

You don't tarnish the image of a Catholic clergy. Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah has been a firm voice against oppression and tyranny right from the days of the late General Sanni Abacha. This same set of people castigating him are still the ones that said Fr Mbaka was drunk to have prophesied about the last election yet they turn around to hail him today. HYPOCRITES THAT ENJOY ONLY GOOD THINGS BEING SAID ABOUT THEM |

dictbennie:Ooooh, men! Now we are on a mutual territory. This is what really gives a fair minded person a reason to fear for our democracy. Our politicians, across all political leanings, are really the AGIP types with a few exceptions. No principles, no ideology. Even the parties are ragtag. No solid foundation. But then, should decampees be prevented from realising their wish, another swansong of repression of freedom of association will surface. So, in the final analysis, we are in perpetual gyration. |
