I've been getting error messages trying to upload documents to the CIC application portal since last night. Anyone else?
well, mine is not for student visa but was online as well. I was only able to upload 4 out of 8 documents after about 50 attempt. I got the same error message several times. Used chrome, safari, MS edge, Mozilla and opera. cleared catche, switched computer on and off. Even opened a new account. same result. I know two other guys that are having same issue. Hopefully should be okay on business days.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I feel if your brother is being sponsored and a sponsor has been established (with evidence of relationship, source of income of the sponsor etc), is it necessary to transfer funds to a new account in your brother's name?
I'm not sure but it might also count as money lodgement. I know U'll explain in his SOP and letter of sponsorship, but ehn..
Just my opinion!

I was in Frankfurt with family and I never smelt anything like racism. We had to use the train a couple of times, and they were all so friendly. In fact, I had people who had to come sit beside us cos they wanted to have a close look at my daughter's hair style (with all the stylish beads and all) and they wie all throwing compliments. There were times we did not get a seat and some had to stand up for my daughter and I to sit. So like I sed, I smelt no racism, just a couple of nice pple here and there...and yes! they were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. We had a great stay!!!

TheBae:
Oga! Even right from Frankfurt airport sef, there's already racism, speaking from experience. We're not saying everybody is racist but there are some countries that are generally more racist than others. Eg Russia and Germany. There's racism everywhere but it's is very prominent in some places
My opinion: if he's so particular about racism, especially as a minor, he should consider other countries instead

Please house have submitted my application since June 24 paper route and my application is status is still processing. Will it advisable to mail Canada visa office and tell them I don't mind deferring my admission to give them enough time to process my application cause the school is resuming September 8. Kind of worried

Admission Package from the University of Winnipeg (Indigenous Studies) UG;
Police Clearance Certificate;
My SoA: (3.6M) Transfered from Sponsor account;
Sponsors SoA (Two Sponsors): Father and Elder Sister (2.5M and 2.8M balances respectively after transfer) with Photocopies of their ID's and Reference letter from them and their Banks.

@deedee0, you make a good point. I thought about the concern you raised as well. Hmm... in earlier parts of this thread there were several applicants whose sponsors transferred one year's "living expenses" funds into the applicant's dom account, yet I've not come across a scenario in which the VO had a problem with this so long as both the sponsor and applicant clearly explained the justification for said funds transfer.

I am planning to implement this strategy (though I would accept a superior suggestion) because the sponsor's funds are neither in Naija nor in Canada. This @ayooluwatoni question and my response to it caused me to become even more suspicious that VOs sometimes prejudice applications in which the sponsor's funds are not in either country.

Additionally, my brother's SOA is really low and we decided we would provide to him through his dom account the amount for one year's living expenses in Canada (in the sponsorship letter and SOP, sponsor and applicant would respectively explain that funds are for living expenses).

I don't think this is an issue, but I stand corrected. What do y'all think? -> @HayqinsbFX @Team12 @tnuola @berexio1 @TempusQ @SeraSera and other ogas.

Once I saw the name of your course I guessed "Purpose of Visit" as one of your delay reasons and I was right.
Do keep in mind that convincing the VO about why you chose that UG program is a tall order. The VO would wonder "why is this Nigerian interested in spending four years of his/her life studying aboriginal Americans?" I say this with no offense intended -> with your course it would be tough to convince a VO unless your SOP is dynamite. It is not impossible though, you just have to make a dynamite argument.

Edited: Did you write an SOP?

Your strategy is good and don't forget to include the Swift/Telex Copy of the transferred fund,
which should bear the name of the said sponsor.
Hope seeing you when I visit US [s](already thinking of visiting US as a TRV hopeful)[/s] lol...

Good Luck

In your search for answer for the latest rate for Form A.
I'll advise you enter Diamond Bank with the necessary docs and make your transfer cos they're consistent in giving their customers cheapest rate.

Congrats n Good Luck!!!

Whenever you decide to write your SOP for your next application, please explain in detail how you would apply your knowledge in Indigenous Studies on your return to Nigeria. If you cant, kindly get admission for another course. No offence but that course is for their locals except you have a job in the UN.

Well, in my honest opinion, if the school really admitted you with that IELTS score, you really have no problem with the embassy, the embassy didn't state an IELTS score for you. And by the way, its Selkirk college not uni college wink

I don't think it is an issue also, especially since it was exactly the same strategy you used in your sister's application and received a favorable response.
