You are not vindicated yet..........Its normal for Access and UBA to touch a new low because of the right offer that they did but FBNH won't go that low even with the bonus declared for 2014 financial year...............2Naira dream is unrealistic................Get off the meds(Na joke)............. grin grin grin grin

we have to thank the CBN Governor for adding more uncertainty to this bear market. In the middle of a major oil price war where Shale is holding the Wake-Keep of OPEC. Our CBN Gov believes the Naira is not overvalued. The delay in doing the needful will push prices lower. #

Its indeed a long term investors dream since the Feb panic attack opportunity.

A blessed and fruitful week ahead people

This mkt avails a lot of opportunities. This is for people of brave heart with good shock absorber to withstand losses while aiming for a perfect kill in the long run.

I have learnt a lot from some intelligent investors here like Manie and some others. I will not stop investing and will never borrow to invest. God willing, I will continue to have steady stream of income from which i will continue to invest.

Stock mkt will rebound for sure. Alot of stocks are trading below their intrinsic value. This mkt is perfect for long term investors.

From the above quote, how low do you think Access,UBA and FBNH will reach?..................
Well one of my main yardstick for measuring Stocks is via their year lowest lows bcoz i believe history has a way of repeating itself.

In Feb 2012 after the Fuel subsidy removal palaver UBA traded below #1:70k.

While that of FBNH since Arisekola who happen to be their major shareholder died, I see their case turning to the likes of UBN.

And if what I'm thinking happens to the Elephant it will definitely drag Access and every other banks down.

Bottomline if you areant in for a long term atleast 2yrs and above better pack ur bags and baggages. So you can always have a pleasant night rest cool . I rest my case.

I used their 52weeks low to measure my risk on equity but 2years,come on is too long but it could drag till middle of next year because I don't understand the body language of Buhari and I hope he has no grudge against Nigerian stockmarket.............If he can articulate his economic agenda and if its private sector driven then things will change for good............Lets see,Buhari is the main guy giving uncertainties to our economy even though we know the economy is not in good shape but at least we must have a plan to strive economically.................

You may want to look at the banking sector. Some of the stocks are currently trading at their 5-year lows.

What else do we expect? The stock market does not operate in isolation! it is just a reflection of the macro economy.

This market is very interesting. When stock prices crash to ridiculously low levels, people will become scared and run for cover. As soon as they hear "Tony Elumelu has made 1000% percent", they will start wishing they bought when prices were low! This is this way the stock market has always been and it will always remain so. Buy low, sell high. Happy investing grin

The last time it touched that point was in September 2010 during Oteh saga.

Amazing forum cum analyst, well i'm surprise nobody is shouting BUY BUY BUY again grin while this actually the time wise investors ought to break the bank and start buying in tranches. smiley

What is happening now is simply called WEALTH TRANSFER.

Only the pigs gets slaughtered while the bargain hunters are quietly taken position. cool
