How come across people from south east region,in any arguement they re quick to mention OYEL and INDUSTROUS, yet their states is not among the TOP 15 states that recieves the highest federal allocation in nigeria

My questions are

1) Why do they receive below others..?

2)Does that means they contribute less resources or being cheated by federal govt..?

3)If yes,why re the people from the region quick to mention Oyel and how they were industrous when they contribute less than others..?

4) If NO why is federal govt cheating them when it comes to federal allocations..?

Margininalisation! Government sanctioned hatred since the end of the war! Somebody will come on here to over intellectualise a response just to bamboozle readers. But it is all about hate, marginalisation and a desperation to keep the SE in check. Nothing but. . They will talk about population but take it from me, the states of imo and Anambra are maybe the most densely populated after Lagos. . Just look at what an empty bornu gets every month. Jigawa was created from Kano yet the two states have amost the same number of local govt area with the whole of the SE,. Yet imo and Abia are oil producing states. . The neglect, marginalisation and cheating is mind boggling and should be challenged at any cost. .

Good analysis but can you tell the the basis of sharing allocations among states..?

Am from Asaba, but I think Marginalisation is the answer.. Hatred against the Igbos will lead this country to destruction.. Even here in Delta, the Urhobos have been marginalizing the Anioma area since 1999 but we hope that Ifeanyi Okowa will balance. everything

Talking about being industrious, yes we are industrious. we work for ourselves and not for government. The tax we pay is assigned to the States we reside for business. 80% of our businesses are outside southeastern States.

itz according to how much revenue ur state generate to d nation, igbo ppl ght more investment outside dir state and dir making itz well dir.....if u watch itz the poor igbo ppl that are shouting bifara, if naija split now most of ur rich ppl will loose all dir wealth in Nigeria b wise!

I think its based on population and majority of Igbos are in kano, kaduna, abuja and lagos so.........

You are right, top-notch illiterate. They are given lowest from the federal level,yet we've performed better than the rest in education, innovation, entertainment even commerce, so... What can you boost of if not debt and surviving from alms from good spirited Nigerians.

Imagine blindness in action, Why Osun is owing while Anambra is increasing civil service salary by 15%. Please check the best 3 states with the best JAMB and WAEC. results...

Nigeria/Biafra civil war has been continued by all federal governments since 1970.

Imo and abia state GDP is almost x8 of Jigawa but their allocation is bigger than that of Abia and Imo
