Sometimes one might think that fayose that looks rough on the outside would be the one to deprive the masses of what belongs to them..but its surprising that he has the interest of the people right in his heart..meanwhile those who look calm are the most insidious..wont pay salaries...

They shouldn't be carrying money around like that. That's how our leaders loot.
Good gesture though. They should have been able to claim their money in a bank.

One of the many reasons people see Fayose as hero.

Fayose: future President in the making.

I wonder why you villagers go gha gha over Fayose and never ever any of your own village leaders back home.

When was the last time you called any of your village leaders your hero and future president.?

Is it safe to conclude that you villagers have zero village leaders to be proud of?

Seem what we mean when we say you and your village leaders are worthless... grin

Wishful thinking. President ko, I had no shoes ni!
On a second thought, NURTW needs a "twale baba" they ascribe the title President.

Apparently, Fayose does not have commissioners or workers under him, he runs a one-man army in that state.

Fayose is the one sharing rice and oil, the same man is giving out cheques; this is clearly not governance.

A governor is a long term strategist not a clerical officer. #nuff said

Call him whatever name you like the man keep winning the heart and soul of ekiti people in particular and nigerians in general. You were the people shouting that Fayose will be impeached and that he would only be a governor for a few months! How far? The man will continue to shame you people.Carry on Fayose.Yo defeated them by 26 to zero and they argued and you gave them another hands down in the presidential, senate ,Rep and house of Assembly election.Their hearts are full of hatred and bitterness.

Oponu Mongudugudu, make Fayose your father, mother and alpha omega, that's your eternal problem and worries...

The question is, do you not have any village leader worthy enough to be your hero and president?

Why a Yoruba man far far away from your village?

Thanks for finally concluding that Yoruba folks are better than your worthless village leaders...

That's all... grin

Such a grass-root man unlike tundefashola.com that would bulldoze shops without compensation or alternative.
That's one thing that most politicians don't just understand.

We saw how that same grass-root manoeuvres in Rivers State ensured that a sitting Governor couldn't take charge during elections even when he had all the monetary resources at his disposal .
Wike and Fayose are Governors to watch out for if only they can capitalize on this home-base support to take their political game to another level because when the chips are down in Abuja and alliances and coalition begins to emerge what political gladiators always look out for is a man that can move his people and not only relying on rigging to win in the old fashion way which is becoming abdated and archaic where the people have resolved to recognize some individuals in their immediate society.
Fayose has all the basic ingredients of a true born leader who will leave his marks in the sands of history if destiny is on his side .
That said, haters will always hate while he will continue to fly like an eagle.

But you and your kind were jubilating when uncle Bubu stagnated the economy to give the naira a false sense of appreciation ? Which is akin to stock pilling food at home by starving everyone to enable you say ' look here , we've got a lot of food at home' hypocrisy is a disease my friend.

Sad how people think and reasons in Nigeria. Guess 16 years and pre 1999 accumulated suffering has hampered our collective self appreciation as well as self respect, esteem and worth.
None of you and your ilks deemed it fit to know how many structures were demolished and how many people were ALLEGEDLY compensated. Before rushing to tell me this gesture is uncommon in Nigeria, ask yourself why compensate illegality. Rather than compensate as was claimed, why not relocate and empower the affected. Remember nobody can name you a fool without your consent but when an agbero (though EX but still very much exhibiting the yester traits of senior agbero ) doles out stipends and you hail him, you can be classified a fool.
Let me ask, what State are you from? I can bet you're not from Ekiti
