Sure, you're right. Just like Python, perl, et al., these languages you mentioned are general-purpose programming languages and scripting languages. You're correct I based my argument on HTML. Who on earth would say the almighty 'PHP' aint a programming language? It is, so as it is a scripting language. The debate is still On as for python sha. Their website called a 'general-purpose programming language' but guru programmers agreed less and said it's both programming and scripting. Even wikipedia agreed to this

Glad we are on terms on this issue.Sometimes online debates aint just worth it,because u cannot express urself and be understood in a more better manner than with the mouth and with physical appearance.

bro, Why are you getting this all wrong? I'm not saying HTML is not a programming language because of the ease in learning it. Q-Basic is pretty so cheap that even a primary6 student would learn it in 6hours. Now, does that stop it from being a programming Language? Of course, No! It is! Mr. IDGAF, I can say this anywhere, HTML is not, I repeat, is NOT A PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE. It is a mark-up language. If you can show me a page, out of the 8billion websites on the internet that assert HTML as a programming language, I promise to give up My studentship!

May be you got me wrong but I never said PHP was not a programming language, All u mentioned above are client side scripting technologies with the exception of PHP which is a server side scripting full stack programming language. I never deviate from my point. The impression you were trying to portray was that HTML and CSS were programming languages that's why I've been trying to clear it out. If we are both saying the same thing then why the argument in the first place? Is there any wrong in saying HTML, CSS and Js are not programming languages but more of like the Abcd of programming most especially for the web? How can u work in php without embedding html for the web? Pls check my entire posts from the beginning I can never say Php is not a programming language when I am the product of php as my 1st language. It's all good though, anything that happens, happens 4 d best. May we went thru this to ignite or spur somebody else's curiosity which might be the foundation of a future great programmer, who knows?
