Atleast, aside from reducing the cost of processing petroleum products, this would create jobs. smiley

Rather than all those "clueless" policies that favoured the cabals in charge of exporting crude oil for international processing. grin

ADAMUdaCOWBOY:

oga we don't have the patience to wait for any drunkard. We gave him six years and he was just working silently. Well as a president you have to talk. You carry your people along and not just work quietly in your closet like one kindergarten pupil.

Is Buhari not working even more quietly than GEJ?
Who is PMB carrying along in his journey so far? Does he carry Tinubu and all those who laboured and spent huge sums of money to put him in office? Even the leadership of his party, APC are grumbling they don't know how he arrived at the list of recent appointments (CG Customs, SGF, Chief of Staff, etc) he announced yesterday.

In fact PMB is not only "working quietly", he is "walking alone" !!!

He doesn't even believe he needs ministers. Now, that is really "working alone"!!!! grin grin

He admitted that the process took a period of six months, dating back to former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, adding “the process was rigorous as they looked at many issues including, land, investment, technical competence, design and a host of many others.”

So the "clueless" one has been working silently in the background without noise or fanfare?

Honestly Buhari should have a walk in the park governing Nigeria. He doesn't have to do much. Let him just relax and continue GEJ policies because all the sacrifices of Jonathan are already yielding fruits.

We should have been patient with Uncle Jo. He clearly knew what he was doing. From Auto policies to Agricultural growth to improvement in Power generation and modular refineries to spur growth locally. Almajiri Schools, new universities nationwide, FOI bill.

Is it the new airports or the attempts to open the East to the world? Enugu international airport and the commencement of the 2nd Niger bridge? He even impacted on the rail sector smiley. All these in 5 years under war.

If only the demons that control the media don't toy with the uneducated Nigerians. Strangely enough they shout corruption but Transparency international thinks otherwise!!! Our corruption rating has drastically reduced from 1st position during Obasanjo's reign to 43rd under Jonathan!!!

Painful enough Jonathan isn't around to reap the fruits of his labour. All these things he accomplished even when the demons from the North kept terrorising. Something one old fool with otapiapia mouth couldn't achieve in 8 peaceful years!!

God bless you Jonathan. We the simple people who are not sophisticated neither born to rule acknowledge your efforts in building Nigeria. We acknowledge no other president has attempted to tackle Nigeria's multi-faceted issues the way you did.

We only pray your successor can build on your foundation... unless he is a dullard as they say.

you're right bro., all buhari has to do is build on the foundation of bro j. the sky will be the limit.

Something is really wrong with this animal call Buhari. He is exactly a bornthrowway. Where would these refineries be located? Is the same South south where he only offer N10m instead of N50b for clean up? Maybe he will locate them in Kano, Sokoto. Foolish barbarians.

I pity buhari and those with the license, they are yet to realize that whenever you explore, drill and take crude oil out; you can't drill crude oil out in that same place again.
Thereby empty that place and look for another, Nigeria crude oil reserve would be depleted anytime soon. Better begin storing them up like what U.S.A. is doing and look for another revenue source.
How many firemen are in Nigeria to combat a fire outbreak from these refineries?
How many countries have 65 refineries? Instead of wasting land can't they join hands and build the one or two highest refineries that have the capacity of producing millions of barrel per day?
Buhari and his advisers are truly dull.

Hello, the earlier you come to terms that election has come and gone, it's been lost and won, the better for your health. If GEJ had achieved result, he would have won because nobody argues with result. If his achievement in 6 years can be counted on fingers of one hand, he deserved to be booted out.

The question is why after a whole six years there are no refineries on ground?. In stead we were importing fuel at $1bn a year. Your post is filled with unresearched half truths and brazen lies. We are talking six years.
The world judges you harshly for practical things they see on the ground and not for projects in the cooler that were not executed because of some people who kept them in the cooler so that they can gain.
