It is commendable that Buhari TRIED to fulfil his promise to publicly declare his assets, but like the Op clearly observed, there are several loopholes in the declaration. But I'm not surprised that the BLIND Buhari supporters do not see these loopholes or pretend not to see. However, half bread is better than none. Buhari has done better than GEJ in this aspect 1 Like |

dunsman:..and Yeshua said,"not everyone that calls me father knows me,for many are called but few are chosen..." This simply tells you that not anyone that speaks Igbo is Igbo, and Igbo being an ancient tongue always disgraces foreigners that speak it with disdain! |
Re: An Indepth Look Into Buhari's Asset Declaration By Barcanista by staymore: 8:21am On Sep 04, 2015 |
kuuljay: GEJ never did because he was not ready to deceive the same people he was leading as a President. During the APC campaign Buhari publicly said he is leaving in a rented apartment in Abj, now he has declared one. The questions is "did he just buy it after becoming the President? 1 Like |

This was more comprehensive and every asset was quantified and monetary equivalent declared. Why so much secrecy and cover-ups. What of Aisha Buhari's Assets and Children under twenty-one? This is the conduit that Buhari may use to drain the economy. Buhari's public declaration of assets as announced by his spokesperson is a complete fraud and a change to the negative.

staymore: Do you have a video of Buhari saying he lives in a rented apartment in Abuja? Or can you at least state what state he was campaigning in when he made that claim? |
Re: An Indepth Look Into Buhari's Asset Declaration By Barcanista by staymore: 8:27am On Sep 04, 2015 |
dunsman: I wonder o The same person that told us during campaign that he is leaving in a rented apartment in Abj has suddenly declared one. Nigerians should ask him if he just bought that one or he was lying to us. |
Re: An Indepth Look Into Buhari's Asset Declaration By Barcanista by Nobody: 8:29am On Sep 04, 2015 |
Some times u wonder whether some nigerians are so dumb or that they just refuse to see. This can not be asset declaration. Its a simple distraction of people's attention from their shortcomings. How on earth can you declare asset without specifics and from the wrong source. So that tomorow they will tell us Buhari 'had no previous knowledge' of the news...smh 1 Like |

Reptyle:since Buhari did not say it withhis mouth then it will be better we wait for him to declare the asset by himself because tomorow u and Buhari will deny this declaration as u are denying this one 1 Like |

Reptyle: Maybe you were always in the crowd chanting sai Baba without listening to his speeches during campaigns. Everybody heard him say that except you when he said it in Kano. |
Re: An Indepth Look Into Buhari's Asset Declaration By Barcanista by staymore: 8:40am On Sep 04, 2015 |
Reptyle: Go and get his campaign video in Kano. While others were listening to his fake campaign speeches you were busy chanting 'sai baba'. |

brightmexy: Yesterday's statement was issued by the president's spokesman in response to all the "100 days miracle" proponents. It was clearly stated that the full asset declaration will be published by the CCB after all verifications are completed. The full CCB document should contain the finer details of the assets that everyone wants to see. If it doesn't, then we can shout. Till then however, I do not see the point of all the unnecessary debates and i will not be dragged into one. All I asked for was a proof that Buhari claimed he was living in a rented apartment in Abuja during the campaigns. Provide one if you have it, or move ahead in peace. |

Sincere9gerian: How so? @GEJ Please read this submission https://www.nairaland.com/2575045/indepth-look-into-buharis-asset/1#37654692 I was, to my utter amazement impressed when I saw the caption on FP. But on opening the thread, and reading through the OP/sensible comments, I became disappointed. But like I said on facebook, I will not say anything until the assets are made public officially. Shehu Garba's statement is ambiguous and generic to say the least. 2 Likes |

staymore: I will ignore the subliminal jibe in your response. This is a link to a video of Buhari's campaign in Kano. He spoke for a little over 6 minutes at the event in hausa. I speak hausa fluently having grown up in the north. Where, during this campaign did he claim he lives in a rented apartment in Abuja https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsgCVru8AfE |
