He is not totally wrong. Some schools may ask for proof of University entrance certificate and in our (NIGERIA'S) case the jamb admission letter and results is our major UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMS and it's obvious from the name since you don't just fly to the University or polytechnic with your waec but of course many schools in Germany can do without it.

The Auslander said they were still expecting a document from the embassy here in Nigeria "can u imagine?". I had to send a mail to the embassy here, but no response yet. Eke is right. Another doc to use for that uni entrance qualification is an A level result. Some unis requirement can long ehn... some go even ask 4 ur international pp data page even after requiring a birth cert from u, as if dat one get any bearing on admission

I spent 7hours on transit at Dubai airpo lookking around their world class facilities with 60mins complementary interment access and free coupon for meal. Places like LMU and KIT-Karlsruhe (both places I applied to) and infact all other schools insist that you submit all docs that qualified you for admission in your home country. We all know that JAMB result or A levels are part of these docs and there is no reason why one should leave the JAMB result behind when one has it. Afterall the photocopy is only 5 Naira.

Anabin is the informative database but an obedient applicant should simply follow all the instructions given on his/her prospective programme's webpage.

Give me a school that specifically wrote JAMB as a requirement. In this case, university entrance qualification refers to a document that qualifies you to get admission into a German University. You can submit: a one-year university transcript, HND or GCE A level, along with your WAEC, GCE O'Level or NECO of course. By the way, I'm not surprised a University requested your international passport or even birth certificate for admission.

I was able to go wit all my food items. With just 1k and others I beg all others ni o point of correction emirate 30kg is NT small o and emirate go feed u ehn wit priviledge of a laptop bag and 10kg hand luggage

I have something that might suffice. Its a 40-page PDF on information for exchange students. Has estimates for living expenses on page 20-something. I'll hit your email with it in a moment.

There's also a webpage I saved that has similar information, only that its ained at exchange students heading to Uni Tubingen from Singapore or so. Let me know if you'll need that one too.
