Your illiteracy knows no bounds and I can see the dunce hat resting proudly n comfortably on ur head...certainly not going to move at least until u learn to engage in civil discussions in a civilised fashion.

He may have extracted a commitment not to engage in illegal activities but that could have been issued and then investigation kicked off to ensure those guidelines are followed. Any subsequent ban will be based on complicity and none will come to tell Nigeria that the ban should be lifted cos there's no evidence against them.

This is not a family matter that u can work from answer to question and it will be put down to family dynamics. It is also not an emirate where the words of the emir are law!
Rather this is a national issue with legal implications! Outlook is also important! We are in global relations and businesses where u must be seen to be at the top of ur game at all times! Don't sit there and call ur people illiterate when u aren't any different. It's in you...
He passed a very important message in a very short time i.e you can be banned in a jiffy, and things have changed. It's faster that way than words only or arranging litigation and substantial evidence. It's brilliant psychology. Dem no born them to sue, they know the kill they're making here. If they sue, patapata we pay them their one month loss and send them packing.
When you suddenly lock the gates on erring workers, they sit up. And here, they've even committed themselves formally.

I wonder where the sense is condemning or criticising the actions of President Buhari, Whether you like it or not, He is your president and would remain so for the next four years and there's nothing you can do about it, not even ur complains would change that...No matter the move this man makes whether good or bad, I'm still of the opinion that a dead Buhari is better than a living Jonathan.

Buhari is a riff raff who does know.not his left from right. I thought this man was a no nonsense man whereas he is the actual daft. Why on earth can an individual open his eye and ban a very important component of a country's section and reverse that decission within days? No wonder people call Buharri an animal.

Was ds scenario not in place b4 d ban? Was it not clear that d ban would have 'adverse effects' in d first place? Why place d country in a precarious position then recant thereby looking absolutely confused? Normal ppl always seek for and strive to achieve a stronger position/upper hand and not deliberately box oneself into weak positions due to avoidable decisions.

A listening and analytical man will carry out due diligence first before issuing and implementing any decision so he can stand by it and defend it without being backed into a corner.

If they decide to sue Nigeria for loss of earnings caused by an unsubstantiated ban is that not more avoidable loss n stress?
Thank you o!
Na trial-and-error all of them sabi, before you go out to do something, @ least you do serious analysis of all variables and see their interplay before deciding.

But many of our leaders seem to not have learned so.
Methinks due and thorough catch-them-on-the-hands investigations should have been done before the decisions that step is taken.
But one's not there, so we shdn't expect them to not have good patriotic reasons for their actions.
The reversal as we call it might actually be an american arm-twisting if you get what I mean.
So one shdn't jump to conclusions anymore

Everyman (I believe) fights for his country the best way he knows how.

It is obvious that you're brain dead. Any sane Person that goes through our exchange in the posts will see that your argument was never justified.

You're an illiterate that knows nothing about frauds. Go back to your manual labour on the terminal.

It's now obvious ur an illiterate, for your mind now u don make valid point.. was there no previous commitment not to engage in illegal activity but was this commitment enforced? No!
Buhari did the best thing by first revoking all their licences first of all so they can know that he really has the power to do so,( u see they were alredy used to a corruption is not stealing paddy-paddy govt) .. they were now the ones appealing to lift the ban.. then he gave them conditions to lift the ban with stern repercussions... and they know he can ban them all yet again or at least the ones not behaving... why won't they be on their best behaviour.... my frnd u need a course in human psychology and management...
U do not ban without evidence of wrongdoing, that is the problem. Learn to absorb an entire picture or scenario before attempting this faulty analysis u insist on peddling. The reasons for lifting of the ban are clear as far as the op is concerned. U do not put the cart before the horse...
There was previous commitment and enforcement should not give room for going back on one's actions or words...rather there should have been painstaking investigation bringing irrefutable proof against erring parties and then punitive measure applied. In that case, they would probably have to refund some proceeds of their illegal activities. Is that not the aim of all the probing and restructuring he GMB seems to be attempting? Is it designed for some to threaten them then welcome them back to sin no more while for others the measures are different? He could not have banned them just to shake them up as u seem to want to imply. In issues like this all u need is one kill strike! That is what tells others that u mean business not some half-hearted, reversible ban that only exposes the soft underbelly of our system!

The affected parties should not have had any standing on which to officially demand that the ban be lifted because there was no evidence against them! Stop peddling filth please!

The lifting of the ban is conditional. It doesn't automatically admit back all disbanded vessels. Any of those vessels still willing to do business with NNPC will now work with new set of guidelines, and also they will have to get clearance from INTERTANKO and other related agencies. I can assure you not all those vessels will be back, and that was the objective.
