Anybody that works with any VIP in Nigeria as a driver or security personnel can go for a brief police course and qualify to wear a police uniform. You can only differentiate them by their force number.

Saharareporters of all people should know that there is something called spy police. They are use for some operations in the bank. They go for police training but are not members of the Force. Based on your experience and level they assign ranks.

Sahara reporters should do further probe on this because when i was still in the banking sector,i could recall that some of the drivers to the Executive management were made to join the special unit of the Nigerian Police and this category of people usually dont were uniforms on a regular basis and they are predominantly civilians.I think this could be one of such cases.
