chigoizie7: My parents, as lecturers lived in University housing for several years. Govt did not fix up the houses. Infact....when the University allocated the house to my parents...they said....na you wey go fix the house... (Though the University Estate Dept did try to do some thing....kudos to them). But....in Nigeria...if you live in Government housing.....it is you that will fix the govt housing. And it is going to get worse...with falling oil price. Infact...when OBJ was monetising houses.....what they were saying back then was....we can no longer look after you anymore. |
