Why South-east Lost Senate Presidency - Okorocha by DONSMITH123(m): 2:26pm On Sep 17, 2015
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has regretted that most of the politicians that contested under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-east were robbed of victory during the last general elections.

He said if the zone had produced senators and members of the House of Representatives under the APC, nobody would have denied them the seat of the Senate president or speaker.

Okorocha stated this, yesterday, shortly on arrival from a trip to Turkey.

He said that in his state, the APC was strengthened to enable it favourably compete in future elections.

He commended the people of the South-east for their show of understanding in the appointments made by President Muhammadu Buhari, addibg: “APC is a great party, it is a big family. The Igbo people are also of the APC and I represent the face of that very strong movement from South-east. What is important is what the people can get from the federal government to develop the zone.

“We can develop the resources of our land and make the place better with or without politics. Emphasis should not be more on politics but on development of resources.”

He lamented that politics in Nigeria revolved around distribution of income from oil, saying: “If oil dries up, what will our people do? This makes it imperative to look for alternatives now.”

He urged the people of the South-east Zone to support Buhari.

Okorocha said his administration would implement an industrialisation programme known as “One community, One industry”, to improve the economy of the state.

Imagine a nation without opposition.......hw wud this country be? Without a strong opposition party able to challenge pdp would Gmb be president?

Among all politicians in Nigeria, Rochas Okorocha seems to have a very large reservoir of ignorance.....so on this note, i recommend this book to him

The people of South East rejected the Almajiri people's Congress (APC) at all levels, and we have no regrets whatsoever.

The North that has held most of the positions from Independence till date, How have they fared?...The North is still one of the most underdeveloped region in sub-saharan Africa.

Many people have realized it was all about political appointments for the elites and nothing about development in the region or the welfare of the ordinary people, you and I know this, don't we? All I ask is that INEC and Buhari ensure 99.9% rig-free voting in the next election so the truth about the fraudulent support for Jonathan and PDP will be unraveled.

Look at his head, after owing 11 months salary to Imo workers because he used their money to travel to Maiduguri, Kano, Sokoto, Lagos, London, all to campaign for a retired coupist, and at the end of the day, his people are no where.

Senate President? Is that position important when you have thieves in the Senate from every zone? What did PDP southeast do with senate president during OBJ- produced 7 senate presidents in 8 years.

Instead Okorocha should have strengthened the party he ran on and his people supported and today APGA and the SE could have been relevant like the then regional party of APC is today.

I think the playing of opposition politics should be left for politicians and not the leaders of thought.

Now, if a group rejected a certain political party just because they decided to play opposition politics, what moral grounds do they have to demand political appointments from the political party they rejected?

If you want to be Okoro, be Okoro. If you want to be Okafor, be Okafor. there is no point being Okoroafor.

This fat pig Okoroawusa again

after hiding imo people money in turkey

No investment forum or symposium . . .no deal signed, and this idiot hausa man is claiming to be speaking for Igbo people

Believe this pig Okoroawusa at your own peril

The person i blame is the TowelHead reporter who was asking the wrong questions to a man who claims to have gone to bring investment and could not ask the phool real evidence of what he brought back

The Okoroawusa fat pig simply went to hide Imo Bailout funds in turkey and the 100 people helped him to check in 100 bags of dollars to an international flight
