TRIBALISM WILL KILL NIGERIA IF NIGERIA DOESNT KILL TRIBALISM.

WITH EMPHASIS ON THE INCOMING MINISTERIAL LIST.
From my careful observation and keen interest on most social-political platforms on the internet and being compelled, i felt the need to put out the bare facts and am doing this not really knowing between the blue wire and the red which one to cut in other to stop the ticking time bomb in our national sphere called tribalism. Before, i continue,my boss is Hausa, my grandmum was Yoruba from ikorodu, my inlaw is Igbo and am Isoko via paternal bloodline. So am a full blooded-Nigerian to say the least.

The Igbo doesn't really hate the Yoruba and vice-versa, if there is a tribe that the Igbo detests, its the Hausa/Fulanis and its also vice-versa. Its evident that the residual emotions deposited from the post civil war still lingers and still breeding. what is happening between the Yoruba and Igbo is a transferred aggression syndrome probably for the part played by some of the Yorubas in aiding and abetting the then attack on secession."the only thing that can heal the civil war wounds is an Igbo presidency" this were the words of former head of state, Rtd Gen.Gowon who has had the greatest share of the experience during and after the war. He is definitely not far from from reality if we really sit and take a deep ride of fairness in retrospect.

The supposition of tribalism in today's Nigeria will continue to fester but hinder potential democratic tendencies looking at the status quo. Triblism reigns at its highest peak in our national reins and we cannot feign ignorance of this biting fact. I was telling a friend the other day while we were watching views from channels TV news concerning the Saraki travail how almost everyone interviewed will opine along tribal lines and it turned out true. While the peeps of the ss and se were sighting witch-hunt on Saraki/Ekeremadu, the peeps from Sw were in favor, thumbing the Buhari/Osinbajo anti-corruption project on course. But this is just a mere case study. this sequence received full bar on since the day ACN and CPC decided to merge into APC and this merger was perceived by many as having tribal undertones even though it was a brilliant political plot to topple the previous government. Votes garnered from the north and the sw would always surpass those from a combination of se and ss and as they say, majority will have their way. Even the embrace of politicians from the ss and se could not really appeal to the people of these zones who unreservedly pitched their tents with the former president Jonathan largely because he was closer to them.

Bearing in mind that our nation has continually sustained on plying the path of federal character as they call it,if Buhari and his advisers from northern Nigeria must do right for the sake of a united country in this current dispensation, then perhaps this is the time to heal whatever inflicted wounds that still remains fresh since the civil war. perhaps its time to draw the people of the south east closer by wooing them and this will only take political will and forthrightness. "am for no body and am for everybody". If these words can become factual and dynamic in its workings, then we wont see what we have witnessed so far in the area of political appointments already made.Think about this, If Buhari announces today that based on his one term agreement with his party, he will start shopping for a successor from the south east, you will be amazed at the sudden best of friends he will become with them and even others from minority ethic groups. You can see its that simple to drive the nation on such a 'onelove' mantra along side'change' mantra. The talk of biafra will self extinguish, there will be a feeling of oneness through out the entire federation and when this happens, our full potentials as a diverse people will shock the world in less time.

I will draw my summation with this, a house divided a against itself will not stand and will not last. there is an unimaginably great potential in us if we can harness 80percent of our diversity for we are only but harnessing 30percent. if every part of Nigeria is treated fairly and justly, if meritocracy becomes our everyday ruler and tribalism/nepotism expunged, then we can start seeing our full potentials on full swing.Yorubas are made to be wise and peace-loving so we need this wisdom and love to thrive; The Hausas love the art of fighting and we need protection; The Igbos love to be industrious, so we need this competition. The SS will continue to provide the oil, and we need this wealth. Everybody got something to offer.

Happy Sunday.

2. His key appoints are all people who share his region and religion. Imagine the chairperson of inec is his inlaw!!
3. He locked out the vp from security meetings where all in attendance where northerners.
4. he converted a the childrens church in aso rock into a food store.

and you forget that imo and abia have been bringing oil money for Nigeria to survive since 1973 a joint capacity of 500,000 barrels/day.

If I curse you now, people will think I enjoy e-war or e-curse grin

The truth is often avoided because it is ugly & unpleasant.

1.) The manner in which the 2nd Niger Bridge contract was awarded must be probed inorder to deliver you jewish sons of perdition from the 25-years enslavement agreement attached to it, and that has already been dealt with in the thread below.

www.nairaland.com/2602228/truth-second-niger-bridge-chibuzo-n

2.) Y should you wail about PMB's appointments when your people collectively ganged-up together in their idiocy & threw their votes to Ebele the loser simply because they hate Buhari ?

Even Obatala knows that PMB is very generous, left to me, Walahi - infinite marginalization is your surname. grin

You can't sow groundnuts and expect to reap vanilla-flavoured mango - ko possible rara!

3.) Propaganda.

4.) Another Propaganda.

Any more question & clarification? grin

OP so you are saying we should dash the Presidency to the ibos on a platter of Gold? You must be joking, that ain't going to happen. ibos must work hard an ascend the highest office in the land.

I prefer to vote my Hausa gateman as President than an IBO man. Ibos should continue their okrika business since they have been confirmed as 2nd Class Citizens.

You can't hate Hausa and Yoruba and be President, never!

Ibos should learn to be submissive to their conquerors.

This is my humble submission of the subject discourse.

Please, please, please and please without quoting anyone, i didnt create this thread for another tribal round off...I did so we can all start having a re-think of how we can work together as one indivisible colony...And we have to start it now or else we are sinking fast... if you think any great personality or nation can help us solve this problem, then you are joking.. Nigeria will and can only be fixed by Nigerians. And Without Unity, am sorry we can never succeed like the big nations we admire..its not a curse but a factual reality.

This thread is one of those MUMU THERMOMETERS the Op who is definitely Ibo is using to see how subdued Nigerians especially Yoruba are by now.

Ibo presidency can't do what the tremendous goodwill Yoruba showered Ibos with after the civil war and to date couldn't do. Ibos MUST hate, it's ingrained in them, and NOTHING can change that. We Yoruba suffer it cos we are the shhiitt takers. The best thing is for Ibos to have their own country.

THERE WILL NEVER BE AN IBO PRESIDENT!

@Op, you must have taken everyone here for a foool, no! Not that fast!

How could the hatreds coming from Ibos have been "transferred aggression" when all we did was defended our land from invasion? We returned every property Ibos left behind when they fled the SW during the war. They now hate us more than they hate those who declare their properties "spoil of war". What is it that we haven't done as good neighbors?

Forget it, only Yoruba cowards and basttards will vote anything Ibo after what you have put us through for no reason.

Some Yoruba will still come and tickle you on this thread cos their MUMU has certificate to show for it, they are the reason you call us names in the first place, but know that there are some Yoruba who truly know your antics and are waiting for you every step of the way.

We need to develop a strategy to deal ruthlessly with those mumu useless Yoruba people who thinks Igbos are normal human beings. They are putting us in great danger!!! We are not only being invaded, Yoruba land is being stampeded by the Igbos. I keep hearing the nonsense about oil money oil money. I wonder how much oil the government extracts from barren Igboland.

You toe my line of reasoning, I am searching for educated , young, brave and nationalistic Yoruba's youths who are ready for this battle against the igbos. These people are an emerging danger to the future of Yorubas.I keep shouting on nairaland and they think I am a mad man. Please we need to do something fast. Please contact me on oodualiberator@gmail.com.

Any concerned Yoruba youth can reach me through the above medium. I am ready to contribute money for sensitization of local Yoruba's. Its the least I can do.

Glad to see the magnitude of our predicament in the Southwest.

I'm with you on this! I don't know what the problem is with my people!

Is it fear? What exactly are we afraid of? Anyone who cannot defend their home is already dead anyway so why not go down fighting The whole thing is beyond me!

Yoruba elders better have some tricks up their sleeves cos if this is all there is to their silence, then I'll be very afraid. We have to find a way to reach out to the youths as suggested by alcatraz002.

Ibos don't even have oil, that's the reason they want to go with the oil rich SS. The Ibos in SS are NOT indigenous, they are immigrants.

Why are you foaming in your mouth because of Igbos that don't even know you exist? You sound like a motor park tout who has nothing to live for. You are already losing the battle because as you type, many Igbos are paying for lands in Lagos and Ogun state to your parents and brothers who need the money to celebrate their most important Owambe. Blame your lazy ass people not Igbos for your sorry state. I am still looking for more lands to buy along Lagos/Ogun axis, and you can't do anything about it. You call Igbos 2nd class citizens but they have made you a tenant in your ancestral home. The joke is on you lazy man.
